Black, White & Red Birthday Card

This card is made using a cut file from Capadia Designs.  I tried to find the actual post it was on but was not successful.  Diane has great talent and a beautiful blog.  The name of this file is Fancy Edge Card A2.  It is a Storybook cut file.

I chose a black and white butterfly paper to cover the front of the card.  I then cut the butterfly from Indie Art along with the shadow of it.  I used my Zig 2 way glue pen to attach the top at the middle to the shadow.  I added Stickles to the wings of the butterfly but they are pretty if you emboss them using the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder.  I curved the wings and applied red jewels down the spine of the butterfly.  I attached larger size red bling along the edge of the card.  The stamped sentiment is from a stamp I got at Michael's for $1.00.

I gave this card to one of my sisters-in-law.  She was so pleased she said, "This is one I will keep forever."

Thank you for visiting our blog and we hope you have a wonderful weekend.  God Bless.  Peggy
