Welcome To Your New Home, Sharon!!!!

I have to make a return trip to SC tomorrow.  A friend of mine had a housewarming last week so I got busy and made her a card.  Donna and I have been tossing around the idea of using all the cartridges we've never used (yes we have several).  So today I used the Wild Cartridge.  It's an older cartridge but I don't think I've ever used it.
 Card
 Envelope
This card is on Page 75.  I used Cricut Craft Room to set it up. I cut all the elements @ relative 7.5".  I inked all the edges with CTMH Cocoa Ink Pad.  The hardest part was finding the paper I wanted to use.  I'm not familiar with where things are in Donna's Scrap Area.  If you have the Wild Card cartridge and haven't used it much, dust it off.  It's really a fun cartridge.

Thanks for stopping by today.  We appreciate your visits and comments.   God Bless You!!!  Peggy

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CRAIG - FEATURING A GUEST DESIGNER

Hi Everyone!!  Long time no talk to!!!  Today is my husband's, Craig, birthday!  I can't tell you how old he is or he might tell you my age!  My mom, Jacob, and I each made him a card using the Imagine Greetings Inside and Out Cartridge.  We made the following three cards in less than 30 minutes.  Just push the layers tab, choose the size, and viola - out spits all the components to make these cards!!  Talk about easy, peasy!!!!

Our guest designer today is Jacob, my 11 year old son!  He wanted to make his Dad a card so we let him in on our fun!  He chose to make the Pirate card and he loved it (of course, he wouldn't tell his friends that though)!  Anyway, if you have an Imagine and want a cartridge that will make the card and all you have to do is glue it together, then this is the one for you!!

Thank you all for stopping by - we so appreciate all your visits and comments.  Until another day, God Bless You!!  Donna

Where Oh Where Has My Mojo Gone?

I'm beginning to think I've been out of commission too long.  I don't really like anything I've done lately.  Donna asked me to make a birthday card for one of her volunteers.  She is coordinator for over 600 volunteers and does a wonderful job.  It can be hectic but rewarding.  They give her all kinds of love.  What's better than that?  This is the card I made.

Card Recipe:
4X5.5" Card Base
Background Paper - Green embossed paper
Label - from Close To My Heart Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge
Ribbon & Pearls

I wonder if the reason I'm not happy with my creations is the interruptions I have.  This afternoon I had one sitting on my lap.  I had to leave Max alone for a couple of hours so when I got back he wanted to stay by my side.  The pictures tell the tale.  LOL

Thank you for visiting with us today.  Donna and I love to read your comments. God Bless You!!!! Peggy

A Card From Our Leftovers & Close To My Heart Products

Isn't it amazing how many scraps we can accumulate?  I decided to make a card from some leftover lavender paper.  I had already punched the edges when I was making Max's Easter basket.  Actually it was an error.  I love to turn errors into something lovely.

The white label is leftover from a cut from Fancy Frames.  It's the inside of a frame Donna used.  The flower corners are from Paper Trimmings Cricut cartridge cut at 1.5".  I crisscrossed gingham ribbon behind the label.  I added gems to the flower centers on the punched area and the corners.  I used my new Sentiments stamp set from Close To My Heart for the greeting.  I love it.

Another item I love is the Acrilix Stamp Spritz and the Double Stamp Scrubber.  I sprayed the stamp I used with the spritz and then rubbed it on the  Stamp Scrubber and all the ink came off.  If you care to get any of these products just click on the links.

Thank you for your comments and visits.  We truly appreciate them.  God Bless You!!!

Tags Bags Boxes and More 2 Easter Basket

Donna & I were talking about Easter this afternoon and she asked me if I had Max a present for Easter.  All I could say was "No".  I guess I'm a bad pet parent.  However, I got busy and made him an Easter basket.  I still have  time to shop for doggie treats.  This is his basket.

I used Tags Bags Boxes and More 2 Cricut Cartridge to cut the basket.  I cut it at 7".  It takes a 24" mat to get it all on.  It takes most of the mat but it's a pretty basket once it's folded together.  The puppy is cut from Just because cards.

This side of it has an image cut from Enjoy The Seasons Imagine Cartridge.

This image is also from Enjoy The Seasons.

This image was cut from Mickey Font Cricut Cartridge.

I hope Max will like his basket.  He will especially like the treats I'm sure.  Thank you for stopping by today.  I'm looking forward to the Easter service at church.  God's love is so amazing.  May He bless you in all you endeavor to do today.  Peggy

I Need Suggestions For Organizing My Scraproom

I just have to share a photo with you.  This is a picture of my new home and especially my craft room being built.  If you have ideas for furnishing my craft room I would appreciate it.  I've been looking for Jetmax Cubes but can't find that brand.  I'm especially interested in finding something to create separate workspaces for Donna & I.  There used to be an item that contained 2 long shelves that could be attached to the cubes to make a desk.  However, I cannot find any now.  Any suggestions or help greatly appreciated.

Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #137 - Use At Least One Flower

I've had to take a break from my design team work during my move but I was able to complete this one for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #137.  Priscilla has changed this challenge blog a monthly challenge so you will have plenty of time to participate.  She would like it if you used one of her images but it is not a requirement.  You must use at least one flower in this month's challenge.  I used her Sunflower image for my flowers.
I have used the other image, Victoria, earlier but I thought she worked perfectly with Priscilla's sunflower.

Card Recipe:
5X6.5" card base
Background Paper - DCWV's Denim Stack & some digital gingham paper.
Digital Images - Priscillastyles Sunflower and Sugar Nellie's Victoria
Ribbon
Red gems
Promarkers used to color Images:
Sunflowers - Gold, Sunflower, Umber - Black Stickles for the seeds
Victoria's Jacket - Denim, April Blue (Limited Spring Color) Powder Blue
Shirt - Lipstick Red, Cool Grey 1
Face - Satin, Coral
Eyes - Fresh Meadow (Limited Spring Color)
Hair - Mustard, Buttercup
Sunflowers - Same as above
Hat - Pastel Beige, Khaki

As always, you can use either sketch for your project.  These are the two sketches for this month.
 Clean and Simple
