Two Variations of the Same Card

I have gotten so I'm intrigued by clean and simple cards.  Now don't get me wrong, I still love my Froo Froo as Donna calls it.  I made these two cards real hurriedly just to prove to myself I don't have to spend hours on a card, even though I do on most of them.

Card #1:
A2 card base
Anna Griffin Cuttlebug Folder "Foulard"
Purple pearls & ribbon from my stash.

Card #2 - This one could be used for a guy if you wanted to.  It's made with Kraft paper, but in this picture, it looks like leather.
A2 Card Base
Anna Griffin Cuttlebug Folder "Matelasse".  The strip on the side is also a border included with this folder.
Pearls & twine from my stash

Give these cards a try.  You could use any embossing folders you have.  Thanks for visiting with me today.  God Bless You!!!  Peggy

  5. Beautiful cards Peggy, the simple design is wonderful. I really like the nice clean look and the way you've added a few little extras without taking anything away from the beautiful embossing.
