Olly in Tub - CDAC, Elegant Edges, Nursery Tails

CDAC has started a new Progressive Challenge.  Details  on this link.  There are 6 digis you will receive this first month if you join.  One of them is this adorable "Olly in Tub".  I colored her with Promarkers listed below.

When I look at her, she reminds me of the hot summer days here in SC when I was little girl.  Mom (Donna's Grandmother) would put a tub of water in the sun to warm and we would get in it and play.
I used Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge and cut this frame and frame shadow (page 24) to go around  the image.  This is a light yellow embossed cardstock.
After putting the yellow frame shadow over the image, I decided the shadow needed to be a different color so I cut another one from white cardstock.
Since Olly seemed to be in the country, I decided she needed some little creatures around her to complete the scene.  This one I printed and cut with the Imagine and the Nursery Tails Cartridge.  It is found on page 7.  I cut it at 1.7".  These are the separate components.
This is the same image after being put together.
This is my card after I added the frame and some "Friends" to a Kraft Paper card base.  The animals all came from the Nursery Tails Imagine Cartridge.  The snail is on page 10.  The frog is on page 9.  However, I didn't feel like it was complete.   I didn't like the white showing through the yellow.

So I wove some brown checked ribbon through the holes in the frame and tied a bow.  What do you think?

These are the items I used to color the digital image.
Promarkers:
Skin - Blush, Ivory, Coral
Hair - Caramel, Cocoa
Tub - Cool Gray 1, Cool Gray 3
Tub Bands - Terracotta, Walnut
Water - Cool Aqua
Grass - Marsh Green, Olive Green
Pebbles Chalk for the ground - Brown and Blue for the Sky

We really appreciate you visiting with us today.  Donna will have a post for her Design Team tomorrow so I hope you'll pop in to see it.  Until then, God Bless You!!!!!  Peggy
