Funny story about the circus.  Several years ago, my husband and I being the good parents that we are thought we would take Jacob to the circus.  We went in, sat down, and the vendors came by with a flashing lightsaber.  Well, that was all she wrote - Jacob wanted the lightsaber and could care less about the circus.  Well, we made it to intermission before buying the lightsaber and once it was purchased, Jacob announced that he was ready to go.  We said, "don't you want to stay for the rest of the circus."  "No," he said, "I wanna go home."  You know why he wanted to go home?  To play with his lightsaber.  We should have just gone to Walmart and bought a lightsaber and saved all the money we wasted going to the circus.  Kids!!!

Well, thanks for stopping by today.  Your visits and your comments are welcome!  As my grandmother always said when we were leaving her house, "Ya'll come back now, you here?"  Until another day, God Bless You!!  Donna

  2. This turned out so cute. I learned that particular "gem" about kids long ago. My grandsons are the same way. (like my kids were) I let them get something last! Then I don't have to listen to how tired they are and need to get home because "I" only look at "girl" stuff. lol
