I was working on a card for my Monday post today. I had all my pieces cut and ready to assemble. Well, I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing so I pasted my base cut on the card upside down. What to do? I had printed the rose from the Better Together Imagine cartridge on a glossy white on white paper the other day when I was practicing with my Imagine. The color blended so well with the paper, I decided to turn a mistake into another card. This is the result. Very simple.
Card Recipe:
A2 Card Base
Background paper - KandCo. Classic K. Bailey - double sided
Better Together - Icon Image - Rose printed and cut at 3.5". I printed 2 and popped one on top of the other for dimension.
Martha Stewart Lattice Punch Around The Page punches
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. God Bless You!!! Peggy
What a beautiful "Happy Accident" Card! You're right too! That goes perfectly together! Well Done! TFS!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to know I'm not alone in sometimes having to "save" or rethink something I made a mistake on. I've also glued a cut or stamped something upside down and had to find a way to use it. You did a good job fixing your mistake.
ReplyDeletePeggy, Your card turned out beautiful! I cant tell you how many times I've done something like that. I am your newest follower. Hope you will stop by my blog sometime.
