This card was easy but I think Mickey will appreciate the thought behind it.  Thank you for stopping by today.  God Bless You!!! Peggy

CUPCAKE HOLDER FOR FUZZY SOCKS - SWEET TOOTH BOXES, DOODLE PANTRY

Hi Everyone!!  With the first day of the month, comes new releases from Laurie at Doodle Pantry Digistamps.  I must say that the releases for the month of February are fabulous!!  I had a hard time choosing which new digi I wanted to create something with but I finally decided on the digi, Cupcake Ants.

I wanted to make something for Jacob's teachers for Valentine's Day that would hold some fuzzy socks.  I decided to make a cupcake box using the Cricut cartridge Sweet Tooth Boxes.

I cut the box out of bright blue cardstock at 10.5".

I printed off cupcake digi papers from Doodle Pantry.  I cut the lid for the box using this paper.  I used the scraps of the cupcake paper and a Martha Stewart Border Punch to decorate the bottom of the box.

I printed out the colored digi "Cupcake Ants" and popped it on top of the lid.

I then took a pair of "fuzzy socks" and rolled them up to form a cupcake.  I then put a pompom on top for the cherry.  Easy Peezy!!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  Please jump over the Doodle Pantry store and see all the new releases and creations made by the Design Team.  You'll be glad you did!  Until another day, God Bless you!!  Donna

BE GOOD TO YOURSELF - Elegant Edges, Doodle Pantry, Martha Stewart

Hi Everyone - BE GOOD TO YOURSELF - that's my motto for this year.  I've decided that this is the year that I'm going to not only be good to everyone else, but I'm going to be good to ME also!!!

I used the "Workout Birdie" from Doodle Pantry to make this card for MYSELF!!  TO ME FROM ME, WITH LOVE!!  I'm going to put this card on my desk at work since that's the place that I spend most of my time in the day.  I want it somewhere where it will serve as a daily reminder to BE GOOD TO YOURSELF.

To make this card:
  • I covered the cardbase with green BAZZILL cardstock.
  • I printed the pattern papers from Doodle Pantry
  • I attached rectangles of pattern paper to the front of the card
  • I used the Martha Stewart Garden Gate punch to make the border which I adhered one of the rectangles.
  • Using Cricut Elegant Edges, I cut a 3" scalloped circle.
  • I printed the colored version of the Workout Birdie and trimmed it to a circle.
  • I glued a flower to the front of the card
  • The sentiment was printed from Doodle Pantry and popped on the front of the card.
As I said, this will sit on my desk in a prominent spot so that I'll see it all throughout the day and year.  I hope this card will inspire you to "be good to yourself" also!!

Thanks for letting me and my mom take some time off from posting.  Mom is still recovering and will hopefully be back to posting sometime this week.  Thank you for your comments and your prayers.  We hope you'll come back again - until another day!  God Bless You, Donna

Have A Mice Day - Stamping, George, Doodle Pantry

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!!!!  We hope that 2012 brings you peace and happiness!

With the New Year, comes new digi stamps from Doodle Pantry.  When I saw this little Quirky Mouse, I just had to smile.  To make the card:

    • I used two postage stamps on the Stamping Cricut Cartridge and welded them together using Cricut Craftoom.
    • Using the George Cartridge, I placed several different size circles on the cardbase to make it look like cheese.
    • I tied orange ribbon on the front of the card and tied blue and orange bows.
    • I printed the colored mouse and sentiment and adhered them to blue cardstock then popped them on the front of the card.
    • I used the negatives from the holes on the inside of the card.
Now isn't he just the cutest??  Please jump over to Doodle Pantry to view all the new digi stamps Laurie has to offer.  You'll be glad you did - there's even a little workout birdie that'll inspire you to either craft or work off some of those holiday pounds.  You'll also find information about free digis you'll receive with any purchase and challenges.

FROM OUR HOUSE TO YOURS - WILD CARD, DOODLE PANTRY

If you're looking for the Fantabulous Harvest Blessings Cricut Crawl, please click here.

Hi Everyone - I thought I would make a card using a cartridge that I haven't used in a lonngggg time.  Laurie at Doodle Pantry has a lot of new digi stamps and I really love the Christmas Wreath.  I found this card in the shape of a house on the Wild Card Cartridge.

I cut the cardbase out of red shimmer paper at 7 1/4".  Then cut the layers out for the roof and the outline for the windown on the house.  I printed out the colored Crhistmas Wreath from Doodle Pantry and popped them together around the window.   I printed out two smaller wreaths and popped them on the door.

I then cut out the envelope for the house card.  It's hard to tell in this picture but the card forms a door.  I printed out one more wreath and adhered it to the door on the envelope.  This card was so easy to make - it makes me wonder why I haven't used this cartridge more.

Thanks for stopping by - we appreciate your visits!!  Please drop by Doodle Pantry to see all the digis available.  Until another day, God Bless You!!  Donna

DOODLE PANTRY BLOG HOP - CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS - SWEET TOOTH BOXES, JOTS, CUTTLEBUG, DOODLE PANTRY

Hi Everyone!  Welcome to the Doodle Pantry 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop!  Laurie at Doodle Pantry has created some amazing digital stamps.  She asked the Design Team to make projects with the digis that we wanted to use.  I decided to make some Christmas ornaments as my project.

I first printed off the digis in color.  I then used the JOTS and Cricut Craftroom to weld an ornament together.  I left a circle in the front so the digi would show through.  I ran the ornment base through the Cuttlebug using the swirl embossing folder, then placed the digi inside and glued the ornament together.

I then used the Sweet Tooth Boxes cartridge to cut out a four ornament box at 11" out of gold and green shimmer paper.  I then used the JOTS cart to cut the 3D poinsettia for the top and inside of the box.  I added bling to the inside of each poinsettia (you can never have too much bling).

All in all - I really loved how this project turned out.  Please follow the blog to the next Design Team Member to see what she has made for your enjoyment.  Laurie is giving away numerous prizes - all you need to do to win is:

      ■ You must enter your url and name/email in the special LINKY in the blog hop post, this will put you in the drawing for prizes.
■If there are 59 or less entrants in the linky, Laurie will use random.org to choose 5 winners from all the Blog Hop entrants in the LINKY. If there are 60 or more entrants, she will choose 8 winners.

DOODLE PANTRY NOVEMBER RELEASE - GEORGE

Hi Everyone!!  Today is an exciting day over at the Doodle Pantry website as Laurie has many new digis in her store.  She has something for everyone.  I had a hard time choosing which stamps I would use to make a project but I finally decided on the two below.

The first one is Pilgrim Sheep (Colored).  Each of the sheep comes separately but for this card, I placed them together and printed them off.  I cut them out in a circle at 4 1/4" using the Georgia cartridge.  I then cut another circle out at 4 1/2" and popped the sheep on top.

I used Laurie's digi papers to cover the cardbase.  The sentiment comes in the set with the sheep.  Jacob and his friend, Luke, made the pumpkins that are in the picture.  Luke spent the night with us on Friday and he wanted to make something for his Mom - so I had them make the pumpkins to go with the card.

My next card was made using the Wishbone Ants from the new November Release - now this digi does not go on sale until November 25th so this is just a little preview of this digi.

Now aren't these ants the cutest??  They seem to always be getting into something.  I again covered the cardbase with Laurie's digi papers that come with the Wishbone Ants set, added ribbon, and a sentiment that also is included with the Ants Set.

Please hop over to Doodle Pantry and check out the new releases.  I'm sure you'll find something that you like.

Thanks for stopping by our blog!!  I don't know about you but I'm glad my Mom is back home!!  I get to have a girls only weekend with her this coming weekend along with some other Cricut crazy women.  I can't wait!!  We hope you'll come back and visit us another day!!

Until another day, God Bless You!!  Donna

HAPPY THANKSGIVING - QUIRKY TURKEY, ELEGANT EDGES

Hi Everyone!  I made a Thanksgiving card for my nephew in California who I more than likely will not get to see this Thanksgiving.  I used this digi "Quirky Turkey" from Doodle Pantry that is free with any purchase.  Don't you just think he's the cutest??  I used sketch from Challenge #42 at Sketch by Carly for the layout of the card.

I used a 5" x 7" cardbase and covered it with black cardstock.  I then covered the black with a slightly smaller square of patterned orange paper.  I printed out the color digi and framed it in black.  I then cut out a oblong frame using Elegant Edges (yes, I had to use it again - just can't seem to make a card without the cartridge.  The card for tomorrow uses it too, oops!!)  I popped the image for more dimension.  I then cut a corner border and used Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch.  The sentiment is from Doodle Pantry too, framed in black and popped.  I then added a little bling to add more color.  A girl can never have too much bling!!!

I think this digi made the cutest card and I think Nathaniel (my nephew) will really like it.  He appreciates creativity!!

Well, thanks for stopping by!!  Mom and I love visitors and comments - please come back tomorrow!!  Until another day, God Bless You!!  Donna  (p.s.  Miss you, Mom - have fun and remember, River City!)

      SNOWBIRDIE - DOODLE PANTRY

Hi Everyone - you all know how much I love this little birdie - I can't help but smile every time I see it. This digi can be found in the Doodle Pantry store - he's called Snowbirdie.  I found the sketch for this card at the Sweet Stop blog.I covered the cardbase with plaid blue paper.  The pink paper is a digi paper from Doodle Pantry - I cut three strips at 4 1/2" x 1 1/2".  I then cut blue paper to measure 4 1/4" x 1 1/4".   I popped the image and cut a border punched with the Martha Stewart Snowflake punch.  I adhered a string of pearls to the border.  I then glued snowflakes to the card and used stickles on the snow on the digi.

Hopefully, this card will bring a smile to your day too.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll come back again tomorrow.  Until another day, God Bless You!  Donna

I'm going to enter this card in the following challenges:
