DOODLE PANTRY DESIGN TEAM - YIPPEEEEEEEE!!

Hi Everyone!  I'm sooooooo excited to say that I've been chosen to serve on the Doodle Pantry Design Team.  Laurie Wilson of Doodle Pantry is so talented and has many of my favorite digital stamps in her store.  My mom first introduced me to Doodle Pantry and I've been a big fan since that time.  The first Doodle Pantry digi I ever used was the happiest little bird you've ever seen.  So when Laurie asked me to serve on the team, I knew I would want my first project to include that little bird.  Thus the card below that includes that little bird as Cowboy Birdie.

Card Recipe:

Yellow Cardstock cut at 6" x 10"
Adhered strip of blue checked paper and red western paper
Digi colored with Promarkers and adhered to blue checked paper.
Sentiment is a Doodle Pantry digi popped on yellow cardstock. 
Wrapped checked ribbon which I tied in knot after tying on a metal star embellishment.I used three denim covered brads to surround the top of the digi.

I must thank my mom for finding these embellishments for me.  When she was visiting last week, she organized all my embellishments in one place so that I can easily find something to use on my cards.  The brads and star have been stuck in a drawer longer than I want to admit.  It was so easy to find them now - all thanks to my wonderful mom!!  She's an organizing dream come true!!
