Hi Everyone! My mom and I hope you all are having a very Happy Thanksgiving! One of my favorite foods is my mama's cornbread dressing. It is the best in the WORLD so believe me, I will be eating a LOT of it today!!
For my post today, I chose to use the Santa and Poppet digi by Wendy at Digital Delights by Louby Loo.
First, I cut a piece Black Bazzill Cardstock cut at 6" x 12" - then I folded in half.
I ran a piece of white cardstock through the Cuttlebug using the snowflake embossing folder.
I then cut two strips of black paper at 3/4" by 6" and crossed them over the white cardstock. I then placed a piece of red cardstock on top of the black strips.
I used the Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridge to cut the black and red circles at 5" and 5 1/2" - then I placed the colored digi on top of the red circle.
I then added pearl bling (a girl always needs her bling).
I used Ranger Star Dust Stickles on Santa's fur.
Now isn't that just the cutest? I really like the black, red, and white look.
Challenges:
House That Stamps Built - SIO - Christmas card+snowflake
I Love Promarkers - Must use Promarkers - #93 anything goes
Little Red Wagon - #108 Christmas

Thanks so much for stopping by on this Thanksgiving Day! One of the things Mom and I are thankful for this year is you - our followers! We so appreciate your visits and your comments. Until another day, Happy Thanksgiving and God Bless You! Donna

FOUR CALLING BIRDS - WILD CARD, DIGITAL DELIGHTS BY LOUBY LOO
Hi Everyone! Can you believe that Christmas is less than two months away?? I know how you feel - it makes me feel sick to my stomach too. I can't believe how fast this year has gone!!
To celebrate the Christmas Holidays, Wendy at Digital Delights created the 12 Days of Christmas digis. Believe it or not, but they are all the CUTEST!!!! She is debuting one digi every day for 12 days. Today is Day #4 - for Four Calling Birds. To make this card, I used the Wild Card Cricut Cartridge to cut the Owl cardbase. I then cut another cardbase out of brown shimmer paper. I colored the digi with Promarkers and used Stickles on Ho-Ho's hat. I popped the image on the front of the card.
For the inside of the card, I cut out a cell phone using the My World Cricut Cartridge at 3" and popped it.
I haven't put a sentiment on the card yet. I have two sentiment combos that I'm trying to decide which I like better. They are listed below, please comment and let me know which you think is best.
1. Front - Helloooo!! Inside - Whoo Whoo's calling?
OR
2. Front - Whoo's been naughty? Inside - Whoo's been nice??
Please cast your vote and whichever gets the most votes is the one that I'll use and thanks ahead of time for your time and comments.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Please hop over to Digital Delights today and the next eight days to view all the 12 Day of Christmas digis. You'll be "delighted" that you did (did you catch the pun?)
Until another day, God Bless You!! Donna

POPPETT - SOPHIE AND DIGITAL DELIGHT BY LOUBY LOO
Hi Everyone! I must say that I think the digi that I used on today's card is one of my favorites. I think it's adorable. I might just use this card as my prototype for my Christmas cards this year. And no, I haven't even started those yet!!
I used the Sophie Cricut Cartridge to cut the card base - notice the Christmas trees along the border. I covered the cardbase with DCWV Christmas Paper. I colored the digi (isn't he cute?) with Promarkers. I then cut out the digi in a circle using the George cartridge and then cut another circle slightly bigger. I used the Sophie cartridge to cut out a scalloped circle which I mounted the digi on. I popped all three layers in the middle of the card after tieing a Ho-Ho ribbon around the card. Then I added bling to the top right corner.
On the inside of the card (which you can't see in this picture), I adhered a strip of the same Christmas paper used on the front of the card. I then used the Martha Stewart Snowflake punch along the inside border.
Thank you for your visits and your comments. Please drop by Digital Delights to see all the new Christmas digis that Wendy has created. She is very talented!!

Lara Ladybug 3D Decoupage - Elegant Edges, Digital Delights by Louby Loo
Hi Everyone - I have a volunteer having a birthday this week and she loves ladybugs. When I saw this digi, Lara Ladybug at Digital Delights by Louby Loo, I knew that I would use it for my volunteer.
A decoupage digi is a full sheet of a digi that you cut out and pop all layers on top of each other. It's a very easy digi to use because it comes pre-colored - all you need is a sharp pair of scissors.
I used the sketch at "Sunday Sketch & Stamp" for the card layout. I covered the cardbase with black embossed paper. Cut a 4 3/4" scalloped circle using Elegant Edges (I warned you yesterday that I was using that cart again today). I cut the heart border using the same cartridge. I put dots of red Stickles around the circle. The sentiment is also a Digital Delights digi.
Hop over to Digital Delights to see all the other beautiful creations by the rest of the Design Team. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll come back tomorrow!! Until another day, God Bless You! Donna

Peek A Boo Pumpkin - Halloween Cuttlebug, Digital Delights by Louby Loo
Hi Everyone - when Jacob was little and he was sad, he would say, "Mommy, I'm saddee!" Well, today at our house, we're SADDEE!! Mamaw went home even though we begged her to stay - she had responsibilities to take care! It's not fun to be responsible sometimes!!
While Mom was here, we crafted in my "Happy Space" (but truth be told, that space frustrates my mom because it's still not completely organized - HA). Since Halloween is just around the corner, I decided to use the Peek A Boo Pumpkin digi from Digital Delights by Louby Loo to make a card. This digi is totally cute! I used the sketch at Mojo Monday to make the card.
I embossed a piece of black cardstock using the Cuttlebug Halloween Embossing Folder and covered one half of the cardbase with it and the other half with striped pattern DCWV Halloween paper. I adhered halloween ribbon and tied a bow. I colored the digi with Promarkers and adhered her to spiderweb patterned paper. I copied the Boo To You digi by Digital Delights into Word and then used a text box to put the word "Boo" inside the circle. I then used a 1 1/4" circle punch to cut it out, then used a 1 1/2" circle punch to cut out another circle - then popped both. I then added a corner anchor and added bling.
I have plans to send this card to Jacob's teacher along with a little Halloween treat next week. Please visit the Digital Delights website to view the new releases and all the other digis you can find there. Also, check out the other Design Teams creations - they are all very talented.
Thanks for stopping by today! If you haven't entered our contest for a Michael's gift card, scroll down and enter with a comment. Random.org will pick a winner on Friday. Until another day, God Bless You! Donna (p.s. Miss you, Mom!)

VOTIVE CANDLE HOLDER, CARD, GIFT TAG - GINGERBREAD CARTRIDGE, DIGITAL DELIGHTS
Hi Everyone! I saw this little cutey Christmas Tree on the Digital Delights by Louby Loo website and just had to smile! He's soooooo happy and guess what his name is? "Smiley Tree!!" Now isn't that just perfect that this little tree? I thought I would make several different things using him.
I adhered a Smiley Tree on two sides of the base. I popped the candle inside and then glued the two stars together.
I hope these projects brought a smile to your face just like they did mine!! Thanks for stopping by - we so love company!! After visiting us, please stop by the Digital Delights to see all the beautiful creations made by the other Design Teams members. Until another day, God Bless You!! Donna
Challenges for these projects:
Anything Goes Challenge - Diecuts/Punches or Both 2nd Week
Art Impressions Stamps Challenge - Make a Tag or a Bookmark
Passion For Promarkers Challenge - must use promarkers - Christmas Critters
I colored the trees with my favorite markers - Promarkers - then cut them out. I then used the Circut Craftroom to weld two Christmas Trees together from the Gingerbread Cartridge. I folded the trees in half to form a card. I adhered a Smiley Tree to each side of the card.
I then cut another Christmas tree out and adhered a Smiley Tree to the front, punched a hole through the star and tied red ribbon through the hole - voila - gift tag!!
Last but not least, I decided to make a votive candle holder. Now let me state that this votive candle is "battery operated" so that it won't burn the house down!! To form the base, I cut out a 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" square. I scored at 3/4" all the round around. I cut the corners and then used Tacky Tape to form the base.

SNOW DUMPLING - A CHILD'S YEAR, CUTTLEBUG, DIGITAL DELIGHTS
Hi Everyone! Wendy at Digital Delights by Louby Loo has new releases coming out today and I chose little "Snow Dumpling" to make a card with. I must say that when I saw the digi that I just went, AWWWWW!! He's the cutest!!
To make this card, I used Cricut Craftroom and card feature on A Child's Year to cut the card base out of blue metallic paper. The card originally had three snowflakes on the bottom but I only needed one snowflake. I used the Hide Contour in CCR to hide two of the snowflakes. I then cut the card at 12" x 6" and folded in half.
I used the snowflake cuttlebug to emboss a white square of cardstock. I used blue chalk on the embossed paper. I colored "snow dumpling" with Promarkers. I cut two strips of White Glitter Paper - one for the front of the card and one for the inside of the card. I used Martha Stewart Snowflake Punch Around the Page punches to make snowflake borders with the glitter paper. I punched the corners on top of the digi square and adhered blue bling. I tied a bow using white wired ribbon.
I then cut two snowflakes from A Child's Year and secured them to the front of the card with a snowflake brad.
This card will be entered in the following challenges:
Anything Goes Challenge - 2W- 1E - Diecuts/Punches or Both·
Paper Take Weekly - Anything Goes
Partytime Tuesdays - 3E (2E anything goes wk) - PTT #36 Shaped Cards AND/OR Breast Cancer Awareness

Pumpkin Laura with Wagon - Lacy Labels, Digital Delights by Louby Loo
Hi Everyone!! I wanted to try something different (for me) as my post this week for the Design Team at Digital Delights by Louby Loo. So I downloaded Pumpkin Lara and the wagon digi pre-colored and made a 3D project.
I printed off two of the wagon digi and two of the Pumpkin Lara digi on 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of cardstock (one of the digis has to be flipped so that the digis will line up when they are put together). I cut out all four digis. I then cut scalloped circles and scalloped ovals using the Lacy Labels Cartridge at 5", 3", 2" to make pumpkins. I inked the edges of the circles and ovals then folded them in half. Each pumpkin uses seven ovals or circles. I glued the shapes together to form the pumpkins - I cut out stems and green leaves.
To form the middle of the wagon, I cut an 8 x 8 square and scored at 2". I folded the sides up and clipped the inside seam on each side to form the box. I then used Tacky Tape to secure the sides of the wagon.
Adhere the wagon cutouts to the box with Tacky Tape or adhesive.
I wanted to make Pumpkin Lara into a candy holder. I cut a 9 x 3 piece of cardstock and scored at 1/2" on each side lengthwise - then I scored the middle of the piece at 4 1/2" from each end to form the bottom. I then attached the shape in between the two Pumpkin Laras. Viola - candy holder (I didn't have time to go buy some M & M's to display in the holder though).

BEE HIVE LARRY - GEORGE, ACCENTS ESSENTIAL, DIGITAL DELIGHTS
Hi Everyone - I must say that I love this little bee - I think he's a cutey!! You can find Bee Hive Larry over at Digital Delights by Louby Loo along with a lot of other great digital stamps. I wanted to make a card with Larry because when I bought my first Cricut machine several years ago, I downloaded a file to be used in Design Studio that will cut a honeycomb pattern in the card. I had always liked the file but had never used it. Kinda like alot of the "stuff" I have in my Happy Space. But I digress!
I cut this card using my Cricut Expression. The cut file uses George and Accent Essentials to cut the cardbase. I colored two of Larry and his honeycomb using Promarkers, then cut them out and pop dotted them for dimension. I added a bumble bee brad above the honeycomb. Very simple but still very cute!!
I think I'm going to make him into a Thank You card for a friend of mine. Maybe I'll put the sentiment of "Just Beeeecuz" on the outside and on the inside "You're as sweet as honey!" Too cuuutttee!!!
I've had the cut file for several years and do not remember who made the cut file and who I downloaded it from. So if it's yours, thanks so much!! If you would like the cut file, please leave me a comment and I'll send it to you!
Challenges I will enter this card in:
Crafting For All Seasons - Fall Colors
Scrapbook Sisters - Autumn Colors
Anything Goes Challenge Blog - Anything Goes
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look! Please come back tomorrow and bring some friends with you! Until another day, God Bless You!! Donna

Polly - Happy Birthday - Digital Delights
Hi Everyone - We're half way through the month of September and half way through all the September birthdays in our family. I made this card for my mom's sister - my Aunt Nellie. Now Aunt Nellie is a very special aunt to me. She and her husband, Uncle Richard, were like my second set of parents. They did not have any kids until they adopted my cousin, David. So my brother and I were like their kids too - they spoiled us rotten. They were at all our special occasions throughout our lives - birthdays, graduation, weddings, etc.
(Now Aunt Nellie reads our blog every day, so Aunt Nellie when you get to this part, you have to stop reading. I don't want you to see your card until it arrives in the mail. But of course, if I know my Aunt Nellie, she's still reading - HAAAA!!!)
So when I saw this little girl digi named Farm Girl Polly by Digital Delights by Louby Loo, I decided to use her for Aunt Nellie's card. I colored her hair blonde because my hair was blonde when I was a little girl.
Here is the card:

Card base - Kraft Paper cut at 6 x 12 and folded in half
Red Shimmer Paper
Scalloped Oval was cut using the Fancy Frames Cricut Cartridge at 4 3/4". I pop dotted it for dimension
I cut two - 1 1/2" strips of the red paper and embossed them with the Dots Embossing Folder using the Cricut Cuttlebug
Digi was colored with Promarkers
Happy Birthday Sentiment is a Digital Delights digi.
Bling was purchased at Michael's
I hope Aunt Nellie likes her card as much as I do. And I really hope that she stopped reading when I asked her to stop. I'll ask her tomorrow and I know she can't lie - tee-hee!! (And Aunt Nellie, if you're still reading - I LOVE YOU!!)
Other Challenges:
Crafty Boots - 2W, SIO - (2nd week) Anything Goes
Daisy Doodles Creative Challenge - 2E, SIO, (must use digi) - (1st week) Embossing (ends 25th Sept)
House of Gilli - 2W, SIO - (1st week) Embossing
