A2 Cards for Nursing Home

I made application to volunteer at local nursing home.  I've done all the requirements, just waiting to hear from them.  I know sometimes they have an activity like scrapbooking for the patients to do.  That got my mind to thinking.  I think card making would be a good activity also.  I thought I could have all the elements cut out and put in a little baggie.  Then all they would have to do is put the card together.  I haven't gotten to run this by the volunteer coordinator yet.  These are some of the cards I came up with.
Card Supplies:
A2 card base - from boxed cards purchased at Michaels.
All the sentiments and backgrounds are cut with Anna Griffin Dies.
Flowers are Anna Griffin floral stickers.

I think these would be great for an activity.

Thank you for visiting with me today.  I'm in Virginia with my son and daughter-in-love.  The weather is so  nice.  It was 66 degrees this morning.  Til next time.

God Bless You!!! Peggy

New Release Sunday - Digistamps4Joy

Today is Team B's privilege to create with the new releases at Digistamps4Joy.  These gorgeous images were drawn by Jenlee.  I chose "Misteri's Ornaments" to work with.
Card Supplies:
5.5"Square card base
Background paper - Kay and Co. Christmas stack.
Image colored with Promarkers.  I used glitter glue on the earrings. To make the fur look realistic, I dabbed liquid pearls on it.  I'm not sure you can tell this in the picture.

Thank you for visiting with me today.  Please visit the DS4J and look at all the beautiful digis added back to the store. I'm happy to say my card is featured on the front page.

God Bless You!!! Peggy

Christmas Card for Only Christmas Cards/Projects Group

This is another Christmas card for the FaceBook Group, OnlChristmas Cards/Projects.

This card is a Make It Now project in Cricut Design Space.  The top one I used the Cut then Print feature. flattened the image, printed it and cut it out.  It was a little too pale and needed some dimension so I added some shading with my Promarkers.  I like how it turned out.

The second one is cut using all the layers in the file.  I used the new Cricut IOS App on my Ipad.  It has the Snap Mat feature that allows you to put your scrap pieces on your mat, take a picture of it, arrange the layers on the scrap pieces and then cut them all out at once.  At least, I could fit all of these on one mat.  If you haven't downloaded the new Cricut App, you should try it.  If I can help you with it, I will be glad to.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you will visit again soon.

God Bless You !!!!  Peggy

Mid Month August Challenge Post

The 15th of the month marks the mid-point for the DS4J Challenge.  It is always Anything Goes.  Our twist this month is "Add Roses".  I chose the digi "Stained Glass Roses" for my card.  It is drawn by Margaret Kieser, owner of Digistamps4Joy.  I must say I enjoyed coloring this lovely image.  I tried to use some of the techniques taught in the Kit and Clowder classes.

The image is colored with Promarkers. The background paper is a scrap of Anna Griffin paper I have had for quite some time.  The panel under the ribbon is made using a cuttlebug border folder.

I appreciate your visit today.  I hope you enjoyed viewing this card and that you will join us for the DS4J challenge.  It lasts through the end of August.  So you still have 16 days to enter.  Who doesn't love roses?

God Bless You!!! Peggy
