Little Note Card

Today I want to share with you a Make It Now project from Design Space.  In DS it is called Watercolor Floral Wedding Thank You Card.  I changed it a little bit and made it a birthday card.
This file prints a watercolor flower picture but I felt it was too light for the card so I printed another flower group from the AG Vintage Florals digital cartridge.  Also, I changed the salutation from Thank you to Happy Birthday.

Have you tried the Make It Now projects.  There are so many fun things to make.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope your week is extraordinary.  May the love of God surround you and hide you under the shadow of His wings.  Psalm 91:4 says,  4He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark.
I'm so thankful for that refuge He gives us.

God Bless You!!! Peggy

Christmas Card for Only Christmas Cards/Projects Group

This is another Christmas card for the FaceBook Group, OnlChristmas Cards/Projects.

This card is a Make It Now project in Cricut Design Space.  The top one I used the Cut then Print feature. flattened the image, printed it and cut it out.  It was a little too pale and needed some dimension so I added some shading with my Promarkers.  I like how it turned out.

The second one is cut using all the layers in the file.  I used the new Cricut IOS App on my Ipad.  It has the Snap Mat feature that allows you to put your scrap pieces on your mat, take a picture of it, arrange the layers on the scrap pieces and then cut them all out at once.  At least, I could fit all of these on one mat.  If you haven't downloaded the new Cricut App, you should try it.  If I can help you with it, I will be glad to.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you will visit again soon.

God Bless You !!!!  Peggy

Simple Birthday Card for Nephew

I have quite busy lately in my craft room.  As a matter of fact, I haven't gotten much of anything else done.  I don't know where the time goes.  I don't get through with one birthday or design team duty until it's time to go again.  And I don't belong to as many design teams as some of you do.  I think I must be getting slower in my old age.  Of course, I've never been really fast when it comes to making anything.  I think I'm too picky.

One of my nephews has a birthday next week as well as his mother.  I've been working on a card for each of them.  I made his really simple.  I don't think men really care for fancy cards.

A2 Card Base
Background Paper - 8X8 Echo Park "Dots and Stripes" Paper Pad. All the papers in this stack are good colors for masculine cards.
Label is from a Make It Now project from Cricut Design Space.  Here is the link to it.  I changed to papers to make it appropriate for what I needed.

Thank you for visiting with me today.

 God Bless You!!! Peggy

Christmas Card #2

This is my second Christmas card for the FaceBook Group, Only Christmas Cards/Projects.  Hopefully I will be posting at least one Christmas card a week until December 2016.

This card was made using one of the Make It Now Projects in Cricut Design Space.  Click here for access to the file.  The hardest part to making these files is choosing your paper.  This file cut both the card and the envelope.

I hope you will join us on Only Christmas Cards/Projects.  It's a fun way to get your cards done early this year.

Thank you for visiting with me today.  God Bless You!!!! Peggy
