My dear friends, Dennis & Wanda, are visiting from Charlotte, NC. Wanda teaches 3 year olds in Preschool. She had a great idea for her bulletin board and asked me if I would help her. She knew what she wanted to say. All I did was use my Imagine and cut out the items.
The ice cream cones came from the Sweet Treats Cricut Cartridge cut at 6 inches. I had Sweet Treats and the Yummy Imagine Cartridge inserted in my Imagine. I used the Yummy colors to color the Ice Cream Cone elements.
I used Cricut Craft Room to weld letters from Mickey Font together to form the words. Then we used patterns from the Imagine cartridge All Wrapped Up to decorate them. The welcome is from All Wrapped Up.
Wanda is going to write the children's names on the ice cream cones. I'm sure they will love them.
Thanks for stopping by today. God Bless You!!! Peggy

Cake Box/Bag/Card - Sweet Tooth Boxes, Sweet Treats, Wild Card
Hey Everyone! Today, a group of my friends and I are going to take my boss, Jean, out to lunch for her birthday. My friend, Karen and I, went in together and got Jean several different gift cards - one to Starbucks, movie tickets, Sonic (she loves it), and Provino's (Italian Restaurant). I made a gift set to put all the gift cards in:
For the bag: - I used my Imagine and the Yummy Cartridge to cut and print the cake on the front of the card and the gift tag on the side. Have to say, LOOOVE my Imagine.
For the card - I used Sweet Treats and the card feature to cut the piece of cake card at 6 1/2"
For the cake box - I used the Sweet Tooth Boxes (LOOOOVEEEE) cartridge to cut the box at 11". I embossed the layers of the cak with the Swirls Cuttlebug Embossing Folder.
For the Starbucks Gift Card, I used the Just Because Cards Cartridge to cut out the sentiment "love you a latte!"
We are giving her some movie tickets and I used the Mickey and Friends cartridge to cut our the movie reel. I simply folded the reel in half to form a gift card holder for the tickets.
I hope Jean will like her gifts - I'm pretty sure she will! Thank you for stopping by today and for all your comments. You are appreciated. Until another day, God Bless You!! Donna

4th Grade Classroom Door - Every Child Is A Gift
Hi Everyone - I worked yesterday decorating Jacob's teacher's door for Christmas. I made the tag with Very Merry Tags and wrote "Every Child Is A Gift" on it. I cut the Christmas tree on the 24" mat using the Very Merry Tags Christmas Tree. I cut three bows using Tie The Knot and glued them together to make the bow look 3D. I then cut different size presents from Very Merry Tags, Create A Critter, Sweet Treats. I wrote all the names of the children on the presents and made one for Ms. Pennington too. Can you guess who has the biggest present under the tree?
Ms. Pennington is going to put a big bow on the door beside the tag. That'll complete the look. Thanks for visiting our blog. We hope you find some inspiration. Until another day, God Bless You!! Donna

Paper Roses
I think I have told you in the past I love to learn to make new things. I'm not so sure this is new. It seems it has been around before now. However, I got an email from Digital Delights at Loubyloo. They had a Saturday tutorial that shows how to make Paper Roses. Nathalie's was so pretty I just had to try them. However, mine aren't as pretty as hers.

In her instructions, Nathalie used a 5 petal flower punch. Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge has a 5 petal flower on it so I used that. I cut them at 1 1/2". You need 4. It was very easy to set them up in Design Studio or the Gypsy and cut them all at once. I did use the "hide contour" feature to hide the center cut out. Mine looked just like the ones cut out by the 5 petal flower punch.

I was going to post the pictures of my steps but Nathalie has done such a fabulous job with the tutorial I decided to post the link to it. If you click on Paper Roses above, it will take you to the website.
Thank you for visiting and following our blog. We love your feedback. Have a great day. God Bless You.... Peggy

SWEET TREATS BIRTHDAY CAKE!
Hi Everyone!! I thought I would try something with my Sweet Treats Cartridge - a cartridge that I've had for longer than I want to admit and haven't done anything with it. I used Design Studio to weld the birthday cake and the cake plate together to measure 5" x 7". I cut the card base out of white cardstock. I then cut the cake plate out of green cardstock. I cut the cake again from patterned paper.
I used the Martha Stewart Gooey Goo Paper Punch to punch the pink patterned drippy icing. I used hot pink flowers from the $1 section at Micheal's to top off the cake.

I hope you like and I hope you'll come visit again soon. If you would like the cut file, please pm me and I'll send it to you. Until another day!! Donna

Sweet Treats Birthday Card
Hi Everyone - well, Mom gave me some inspiration yesterday. She told me to go find a cartridge that I had that I HAD NEVER USED and make something with it!! Well, we won't discuss just how many cartridges that I found that fit that description. I told Mom that she had gone to "meddlin' now" by giving me that instruction. But as the saying goes, "Mom's know best" and that holds true in this situation.
Our family has "way too many" birthdays in the month of September - so many that it boggles the mind - so I decided I better get started on making some of those cards.
I chose to make a card with the Sweet Treats cartridge (we will not discuss just how long I've had this cartridge without using it). It has lots of birthday ideas on it and you can make a card from every image on the cartridge. Just what I needed.

Thank you for visiting and we hope you'll come again soon!! You'll be seeing a LOT of birthday cards in the next few weeks. I think Mom counted 14 birthdays this month. Now that's just wrong!! Well, until another day, God Bless!! Donna
