Iris Card

Lately, I will get an idea for a card in my head and I will start working on the idea, only to end up with something only a little like my original thought.  This card is one of those cards.

The original idea was to layer lace cut outs all across the card.  However, when I tried it, I felt like the lace was too big.  So I just used 1 piece for each side of the card.  I added pink ink to the edges so they wouldn't look so stark.  The lace is from Martha Stewart's Elegant Cake cartridge.

The flower is an Anna Griffin embellishment, layered and put together with foam adhesives for dimension.  The bow is from the Cricut cartridge "Anna's Ribbons and Bows".  This card can be used for so may different occasions.  It would make a lovely Mother's Day card.  My Mom is not living or I would give it to her.

Thank you for visiting with me today.  I love your comments.

God Bless You!!! Peggy
