What I Did Labor Day Weekend

I think Labor Day is supposed to be a time of fun and sharing it with family & friends.  Well, I took it literally and labored all weekend.  I spent it organizing my craft room.  I came to these realizations:

  1. I am a sick woman for buying all this "stuff".  Why do I think I have to have one or two of everything?
  2. If I live to be 110 years old and made something everyday, I would never use all this stuff.
  3. I need to adopt a nursing home and use the cards I make to cheer up the people there.  Some of them have no one to visit them.
  4. I'm sure there are other things I resolved to do while I was working on my craft room but these are the main ones.
Here are some pictures of the "Organize Project."

Thank you for visiting today.  How many of you are as bad as Donna & I about buying crafty stuff?  God Bless You!!!!!  Peggy

  1. You are not alone! LOL. At least you actually make things from what you buy! I'm more in to collecting mode. I think your idea is great about the nursing home. You could even talk to them about leaving some blank ones for residents to give to family members. My mom is constantly telling me that she needs some birthday, thinking of you cards, etc. and I'm so pathetic I just go buy her some of those boring box collections.

Keep up the good work! Your room looks wonderful!

  2. Haha, Peggy! I am so glad I'm not alone in the crafting addiction department. They really should have a 12 step program for some of us that don't know when to stop buying!! I won't live long enough to use up all my papers and I keep buying more!!! But it sure is fun, isn't it?? I love your craft room----it is wonderful!
