DS4J New Releases - September 3

Time for another new release at Digistamps4joy.  There are several new mandalas, deer and kidsart.  They are all fun images.  I chose Mandala #1 for my card.  I started out coloring it in, then decided to be a little radical and do something totally different.

I've had a Minc machine for a year or more and never played with it much. Lately, I've been giving it a go.  I decided to print my Mandala image with my laser printer.  Then I ran it through the Minc with gold foil paper.  I decided the negative image left on the gold foil would be pretty on some toner paper so I ran it back through the Minc machine.  Here is the result.
I placed the Mandala images on some gold and black paper, added some sequins and added a sentiment.  What do you think?  I also added a sentiment to the inside with a foiled rose.
I hope you will go to the DS4J Blog Post and check out all the new releases and see all the projects by the other members of the Design Team.

God Bless You!!!! Peggy

Red Foil Fun

Here I am with another foil card.  I think this one will go to a friend that is having a house warming Sunday afternoon.

The roses on this card is a free svg file from Digital Gems.  I cut the file out of toner paper and ran it through my Minc with red foil.
The background is silver glitter paper, although the photo doesn't do it justice.  I added some red gems & silver bow.  Now to just add a sentiment and it's ready to go.

I love your visits and comments.  Thanks for your encouragement.

God Bless You!!!  Peggy

Gold Foil Fun

I've been noticing a lot of foiling on cards of my team mates on the Graciellie Design DT.  I have been playing with some of it this week and I made this card.  I really like it and it was easy to make.

The gold foil design is actually the negative of an original design I used.  I'll be sharing the original another day since I messed it up. After I ran the original through the Minc machine, this pattern was left and I just placed it on a sheet of toner paper and ran it through the Minc.  I don't think this picture shows the true beauty of the gold.  I had to maneuver the camera around because I kept seeing my reflection in the card.

Thank you for your visit today.  I hope you like my card.  More later.

God Bless You!!! Peggy

Christmas Card Week #6

This is the 6th week for making cards on the FaceBook Group, Only Christmas Cards/Projects.   This is their challenge for the year of 2016.

I did a little something different for this one.  I'm sure you've heard about the "foiling" craze using Heidi Swapp and Anna Griffin's Minc machines.  I bought Anna Griffin's when she first shared it on HSN last year.  As usual, when I get a new machine I let it sit for a while before using it.  Don't ask me why, I'm just funny that way.  I decided to try foiling on this card.
Card Recipe:
5.5" Square Card Base - Red Metallic
Background paper- Silver Metallic paper embossed with an Anna Griffin Christmas embossing folder
Wreath and center piece are from a packet of Christmas toner embellishments from Anna Griffin.  Wreath is foiled with green and Noel is foiled in red.  The way the light is shining on the green it makes it look two toned but it isn't.  It's actually all like the lighter green.

Thank you for visiting with me today.  I hope you all have a wonderful week.  God Bless You!!  Peggy
