The Crafty Cardmakers have been on little hiatus but we're back today. The theme for our challenge is "Under the Sea or At the Beach". I couldn't think of a more appropriate image than this one. This image is a product of a Kit and Clowder monthly coloring class. It is a Conie Fong image. These classes are so much fun and you learn so much.
This image was colored with Prismacolor Pencils. I hope you will join us at Crafty Cardmakers for our current challenge.
Thank you for visiting today. I love hearing from you. Any constructive criticism is appreciated.
God Bless You!!!! Peggy

Red Foil Fun
Here I am with another foil card. I think this one will go to a friend that is having a house warming Sunday afternoon.
The roses on this card is a free svg file from Digital Gems. I cut the file out of toner paper and ran it through my Minc with red foil.
The background is silver glitter paper, although the photo doesn't do it justice. I added some red gems & silver bow. Now to just add a sentiment and it's ready to go.
I love your visits and comments. Thanks for your encouragement.
God Bless You!!! Peggy

Gold Foil Fun
I've been noticing a lot of foiling on cards of my team mates on the Graciellie Design DT. I have been playing with some of it this week and I made this card. I really like it and it was easy to make.
The gold foil design is actually the negative of an original design I used. I'll be sharing the original another day since I messed it up. After I ran the original through the Minc machine, this pattern was left and I just placed it on a sheet of toner paper and ran it through the Minc. I don't think this picture shows the true beauty of the gold. I had to maneuver the camera around because I kept seeing my reflection in the card.
Thank you for your visit today. I hope you like my card. More later.

Graciellie Design Inspiration Blog,
The Graciellie Design DT are ready for another blog hop featuring the beautiful images, digital papers and die cuts released by Gracie on August 1. I hope you like our creations and get inspired to jump right in and join us. This is my card I made using the Magnolia Dreams Digital Paper Pack.
Card Details:
5.5" Square Card Base
Background - All the elements on this card except the butterfly and the sentiment are from Magnolia Dreams paper. I imported the paper with the magnolias on it into my Cricut Design Space and removed the background until I only had the magnolias. Then I cut out 3 layers. I adhered 2 of them together with foam adhesives and cut out the main flowers and popped them for a 3rd layer.
Sentiment is from Gracie's Friend Collection.
I hope you have enjoyed your visit here. The next person on the blog hop is Regina. Click on her name and go to her blog.
If you didn't start the blog hop at Graciellie Design, please go back and start there and leave a comment on each participant's blog. You're in for a treat.
God Bless You!!! Peggy

DS4J Mid-Month Challenge Post
It's time for team B to post some inspiration for the Digistamps4joy August challenge. The theme this month is Anything Goes with the twist Summer. We are in the throws of summer here in the South. I know some of you are having winter where you are so maybe our fun cards will warm you up a bit.
Card Supplies:
5.5" Square card base
Background - I used chalk to create the background
Images - I used 2 DS4J images for this card, Beach Umbrella and Misteri - Where's Summer (pre-colored)
Beach Umbrella was colored with Copics.
The sentiment was a freebie from another company. I uploaded it into Photoshop Elements (which I know very little about) and worked with it until I got the words colored.
I'm so happy you came by for a visit today. I hope you will go over to the DS4J Blog and see all the fabulous cards the design team made.
I will be posting again later today regarding the Inspiration Blog Hop at Graciellie Design.

New Release - New Artist - DS4J
We have a new artist at Digistamps4joy. Her name is Lyndall and draws fabulous birds and animals. We were given a couple of her images to create a card for her release. I chose the "Collared Sunbird-colored" for my card.
I used Cuttlebug Bird Cages and Branches Dies and Embossing Folders for the background, branch and birdcage on this card. The bird was already colored beautifully so he needed no help from me.
Be sure to check out DS4J blog today to see all the other designer cards our team made.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you have a fabulous Christ-filled Sund

DS4J New Release Sunday
Welcome to new release Sunday at Digistamps4joy. Margy and JenLee have some new digistamps to show you. Some are black & white so you can color them with whatever medium you choose. Some are pre-colored if you prefer those. Either way, there are plenty of cute images to choose from. One of them is called "My Insect Garden" drawn by Margaret Keiser, our fearless leader. It contains quite a few separate files like flowers, insects and toadstools. I took 3 of the flower files, a grass file and a bee file to create my card.
Card Details:
A2 Card Base
Background - Blue and Green Cardstock
Images - Flowers, grass, and bee from "My Insect Garden" available in the DS4J store. The lady bugs are cricut files that I flattened, then print and cut them
Images colored with Copics.
Be sure to go by the Digistamp4Joy blog to see all the inspiration of the Design Team.
Thank you for visiting with me today. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Graciellie Design and Paper Temptress Blog Hop
Graciellie Design and Paper Temptress are teaming up today to bring you a blog hop featuring new releases by Graciellie Design and a new paper pack Paper Temptress prepared to coordinate with the Magnificent Magnolia Collection. The new release I chose for my card is "Happy Greetings". As you can see it is a beautiful set of tulips with lovely sentiments.
My card:
Card Details:
A2 Card Base
All the lovely papers I used were from the Paper Temptress Magnolia Dreams Variety Pack
Background Paper: I used Paper Temptress Amethyst Mica/Metallic paper. It has a beautiful sheen to it.
Die cut background - This pattern is one of Gracielle Design die cuts designed to go with these new releases. The paper used for this is another Paper Temptress product, Vintage Silver Lustre. This paper has a gorgeous swirl pattern. This photo really doesn't show it's beauty.
Image - Happy Greetings by Graciellie Design. I chose the tulip with the leaves, removed the background to make it a png file, then duplicated it. I flipped one of them horizontally, then put them together to make a bouquet. I, then, printed it on PT's Cryogen White #89 paper. This is one of the best papers for coloring with alcohol markers. Image is colored with Copics. I then attached it to a paper doily with adhesive squares and glued the doily to my background.
Bow - made from Gold Opulence Ribbon from Paper Temptress. It adds a touch of elegance to this card.
Butterfly - a foiled Anna Griffin embellishment
Now, it's your turn to visit all the other designers to see what they have created with these new releases. The prize for today's blog hop will be the complete Magnolia Dreams Collection which features digistamp, papers and die cuts.
Here is our blog hop list for your enjoyment. These ladies have some beautiful things to show you. Be sure to leave a comment on each one in order to be eligible for the prizes.
