If you ever use SVGs My Scrap Chick is having a wonderful sale right now. The deal is if you order 10 items, you get them for .50 cent each, no matter what the original cost. I ordered 11 items for $5.50. Some of them were multi-item svg's. This card came from a product called Blessings Trio which consisted of the card, a basket and a box.
I tried uploading the svg into Cricut Design Space but it didn't upload correctly. So I decided to try importing into Silhouette Studio. It imported flawlessly so I used my Cameo to cut out all the pieces. The Cameo did not cut as well as my Cricut Explore but at least I didn't have the hassle of resizing everything. I'm hoping this will be corrected for CDS soon.
I cut the card and all the embellishments exactly as designed, embossed the background piece with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder and assembled the card. I think it will make a darling Thanksgiving card.
Thank you for your visit today. God Bless You!!! Peggy

YUM, YUMMMMM COOKIES - Thanksgiving Cartridge
Hi Everyone - well, you know that I like to make little gifts for Jacob's teachers throughout the year. So I thought that I would make a little something for Thanksgiving. I purchased some cookie dough from my boss' nephew - this cookie dough came already preportioned out. All I had to do was open the package, put the dough on the cookie sheet and bake. LOOOVEEE ITTTT!! While the cookies were still hot from the oven, I put a Hershey's Kiss in the middle of each cookie then sprinkled each cookie with sugar! VIOLA!!! Super Cute, Super Easy, and Super Good!!!
I purchased these fall metal baskets at the Dollar Tree a while back so after the cookies cooled, I put them in a ziplock bag inside the basket. I then placed more Hershey's Kisses around the cookies.
For the tags, I used the Cricut Thanksgiving cartridge to make the note cards at 2 1/2". Simply hit cut and out came the cards. I cut the layer at 2 1/2" and glued to the top. For the inside of the card, I used the negative of the border that I cut for the front.
Jacob asked me not to make him carry the gifts into his teacher tomorrow, so I'm going to take them to the office and have the teachers pick them up. Hopefully, they will enjoy them over their Thanksgiving break.
Thanks so much for stopping by today - we appreciate your visits and your comments. Until another day, God Bless You and our country!! Donna

Fantabulous Cricut Harvest Blessings Crawl
Welcome to our blog and the Fantabulous Cricut Harvest Blessings Crawl...Fantabulous Cricut's version of a blog hop! It's Fall and everyone at Fantabulous Cricut has decided to create projects to give thanks for our Harvest Blessings! Each Design Team member will be featuring an original Fall project that includes Brown, Orange and Red – along with at least one Cricut cut.
If you've come from visiting Melissa at Create With The Cricutkateer, you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our Fantabulous Cricut Crawl, start HERE .
Make sure to check out each DT member's blog for some awesome inspiration! There will be PRIZES along the way at some of our DT members' blogs, AND there will be a Grand Prize up for grabs at FCCB for one participant that submits a "Harvest Blessings" project at FCCB!
When I started thinking about my "Harvest Blessings", I knew immediately the biggest blessing in my life next to the Lord Jesus Christ, is my family. How I decided to portray this was to create napkin rings and place cards for our Thanksgiving table. Here is a picture. They're not extremely detailed and were quite simple to make. I'm working on another project I hope to post later this week. So check back.
I used the Thanksgiving Cricut cartridge to cut the napkin rings and the placecards from shimmer paper. I love that paper but it is very hard to photograph. From the Enjoy the Seasons Imagine cartridge, I printed and cut the leaves and acorns for the napkin rings and then the pumpkins for the place cards. I used the font on the exclusive Cricut Craft Room Basics cartridge to cut out the names. I welded the letters together.
My prize will be a $10.00 gift card from Michael's. In order to be eligible please be a follower and leave a comment on this post. This blog hop will be for one week. You will have until Sunday night at midnight to enter. Since FCCB will be announcing the Grand Prize winner on Wednesday, Nov. 23, that is when I will announce my winner. Unfortunately, I will only be able to mail within the continental United States.
Now it's your turn! Let's see your Harvest Blessings projects! Make sure to include a Cricut cut somewhere on your project and be sure to use the colours Brown, Orange and Red as well! Post them on the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. I can't wait to see what you create. I'll be over there checking.
Next stop… Robin's blog at Robin's Creative Cottage. Go and see what she has in store for you today. And when you're done, make sure to link up your project to FCCB's Fantabulous Cricut Crawl post to be entered into the contest!
Thank you for stopping by today. I know you are going to love my team mates projects. God Bless You!!!! Peggy

Give Thanks-BBTB2 Challenge
The challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2 this week is to create a card using the Give Thanks from the Thanksgiving cartridge. I just got my cartridge this week so I wanted to play along. The other project I wanted to do was an octagonal easel card. I decided to combine the two.
I started by creating a cut file in Cricut Design Studio. I know, I know. I have a Gypsy but I let it intimidate me (one of these days I'm going to surprise all of you and say, "This is something I created with my Gypsy"). Anyway, I'm digressing again. Heehee. I used George and Basic Shapes for all my card shapes except the "Give Thanks" which is, of course, from Thanksgiving. My finished card is 5 1/2" tall.
The Cornucopia and the inside sentiment are digistamps from Doodle Pantry. I used Promarkers to color them. The paper is from a stack of DCWV paper Donna and I shared and she has the name of it. I don't think you can see it but the green paper is flocked. I cut the leaves from another sheet of the same stack.
I like my Promarkers more and more. I was really pulling for my Donna to win the complete set of Promarkers Enfys from Going Buggy was giving away. My Donna didn't win but Nana Donna did. Isn't that funny? We are so happy for you, Nana Donna. You are so creative. My Donna said, "Mom, I guess we need to be more specific next time which Donna we want to win." LOL
Thanks for visiting our little section of the blogoshere.. We love your comments. God Bless You!!!! Peggy
(If anyone wants the cut file send me your email address and I'll send it to you.)
