Thank You Very Much Featuring Elvis

I am loving the Imagine Greeting Cards Inside and Out cartridge.  This card is for a couple who came over and helped me move a loveseat out of my sunroom.  As many of you know I am packing up to move closer to Donna.  What a chore that is so when I make a card I need to do it in a hurry.  That is not my normal style.  I usually stress over them a long time.  This new cartridge is making my card making easier these days.

I printed and cut this card at 5.2"  I cut all the layers but did not use all of them.  Elvis was always glitzy (is that a word) so I added jewels and stickles to his outfit, glasses and mike.  Not sure if you can see it but it's there.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I'm posting a little late today but wanted to show you another card from this cartridge.  God Bless You!!!!  Peggy

Birthday Card Using New Imagine Cartridge

Last week after I received my Hello Thursday email, I ordered the new Imagine cartridge and Giant Flowers.  I got them yesterday.  Both my brothers have birthdays in January so I decided to use Greeting Cards Inside and Out, the new Imagine cartridge to make one of their cards.

This is a fantastic cartridge.  It cuts out everything pertaining to the card.  After printing and cutting all the elements, I put them together using foam adhesives.  The following pictures show how easy it is to make a card.
This is the front and back of card
 The inside of the card.
Another view of the inside showing the 3D effect.

Thank you for visiting with us today.  We are so blessed when you visit and comment.  I'm busy packing up all my belongings to move.  What a mess.  Some days it is totally overwhelming.  God's grace is new every morning.  God Bless You!!!!  Peggy

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ETHEL - IMAGINE YUMMY

Hi Everyone - I hope you all had a good weekend. I got a lot of things accomplished which always makes me feel good. Many of you know that I work with volunteers and Tuesday is the birthday of one of the volunteers that works in my office. Her name is Ethel and she is one of the sweetest ladies you'd ever want to meet.

I recently bought the Yummy Cartridge for the Imagine but as is the case with a lot of the things I buy, I had not used it until I decided to make a card for Ethel. To make this card, I chose the card option on the Yummy cartridge and printed and cut it at 9". I scored it along the score lines using my Martha Stewart Scorepad.

I then used the envelope feature that matches the card at 9 1/4".

To decorate the card, I cut the embellishments below at 2 1/2". The only thing that I added to the card that was not created by the Imagine was the bling that I bought at Michal's on sale for $1.00. All in all, I know Ms. Ethel will love her card.

Thanks for stopping by today. Mom and I so appreciate all your visits and your comments. Until another day, God Bless You!! Donna

Imagine More Cards

Hi Everyone!!  I hope you had a great weekend!  It seems like the weekends go by way too fast - or at least they do for me!!  I have a lot of meetings to attend on Monday and one of my best friends, Sherry, is going to help me out by taking care of my son while I attend a meeting at 6:00 p.m.  Hopefully, I won't fall asleep!!

I'll be putting one of these cards in the mail in the morning to Sherry to thank her for all her help.  The other card will go to another one of my best friends to thank her for a birthday gift she gave me recently.

I made these cards using my "new" Imagine More Cards cartridge that I received in the mail this weekend.  I LOVE this cartridge!!!

I cut both of these cards at 5" x 5".  These cards were made with just a touch of a button and turned out so vivid.  I hope they like them as much as I do!!

Thanks for all your visits and comments.  Mom will be back tomorrow and I'm glad - I've missed her!!  Until another day, God Bless You!!  Donna

THANKS - Imagine Better Together

Hi Everyone - well, Mom's off visiting the other grandsons so she's left me in charge.  OMGoodness - now those are big shoes to fill.  I got home this evening after 9:00 p.m. and still needed to make a Thank You card for my boss.  So I needed something quick!!  Here's what I came up with - simple but oh so cute!!

Card Recipe:

A2 cardbase
Pattern Paper - Better Together cut at 5" x 5"
Thanks - Better Together cut at 1" x 1"
Turquoise Bazzill Cardstock
Ribbon

I covered the cardbase with the printed paper and then used a Martha Stewart punch on the Turquoise Cardstock - tied ribbon, popped sentiment, and VOILA - we have a Thank You card!!

Now just how easy is that?  Well, I hope you enjoyed your visit today and that you'll come back another day.  Until another day, God Bless You!!  Donna

BIRTHDAY CARD MADE WITH IMAGINE & BETTER TOGETHER CARTRIDGE

Hi Everyone!!  A few weeks ago, my mom enabled me into buying the new Provocraft machine, "The Imagine!"  Did you hear the angels from the Heavens singing?  I positively LOVE this machine.  I needed a birthday card for one of my best friends so I decided that I was going to make it with my Imagine and the Better Together Imagine Cartridge.

Card Recipe:

Background Paper - printed and cut at 7" x 7" and cut to fit the pre-cut 5 x 7 cardbase
Scalloped Square - printed and cut at 5" x 5"
Flower with Face/Butterfly - printed and cut at 4" - cut 2 and popped for dimension
Flower without face - printed and cut at 3.5"

Inside of card:

Flower with Face/Butterfly - printed and cut at 3.5"
Tulip - printed and cut at 3"
Used remainder of Background paper from the front to decorate edges on inside of card

Sentiments were generated with Microsoft Word

When the Imagine first came out, I told Mom that I would never buy one of those!  HA, the old adage of "Never Say Never" is sooooo true!!  I'm glad Mom enabled me.  She was just paying me back for all the times that I've enabled her into buying something!!

We appreciate your visits and your comments!  Please come back again tomorrow - we'll be here!  Until another day, God Bless You!  Donna

Imagine & Cricut Cards

Happy Wednesday, Everyone.  I hope your week is going exactly as you planned.  I can't complain about mine.  There are things I need to do outside but can't because of the heat.  So I've spent my time today making two cards.  This one is made with the Imagine.

Card Recipe:
Country Carnival Imagine cartridge.  I cut the card from the Bonus Section on Page 43 at 4.25 X 5.5".  Then I cut the Paisley from the Icons section at around 2" twice.  Put foam adhesive between the two and adhered to card.  Simple, huh.

I wanted to show our followers who don't have an Imagine how to make this card using the Expression.  This is the card I came up with.

Card Recipe:
A2 card base
Background Paper - KandCo. Classic K Bailey Stack
Mother's Day Bouquet Cricut cartridge - cut one of the flowers at 1.5", 1.25, 1".   Cut the other at 1.25", 1.0", and .75".  You can make as many flowers as you wish.  I just chose to make 2.  Curl edges up.
Martha Stewart Punch for the leaves.  The Mother's Day Bouquet cart has leaves on it too, so you could cut them on your Expression.
Essentials cartridge for the scalloped border-cut at 1.5"
Florals Embellished cart for the Paisley.
Ribbon with a sentiment or stamp your sentiment on the card.
Gems

I had fun doing these cards.  Of course the last one took longer but I think it turned out very nicely.  Which do like best?  Leave me a comment.  Thanks for visiting with us today.  God Bless You!!! Peggy

Imagine Birthday Card

Since I've had my new toy only a week, I am still fascinated by it.  It makes card making so easy.   I wish Provocraft would get the bugs out of Craft Room so we can use it with the E2 and the Imagine.  Oh well, I guess in due time.  Here is a little birthday card I whipped up today using the Imagine.

Card Recipe:
A2 Card Base
Background Paper - Anna Griffin Carolina Collection - I could have printed paper but I've got tons of paper I need to use.
Lori's Garden Imagine Cartridge - Page 20 for the Label with the flowers and butterfly - cut at 3".  Page 22 for the Birthday Greeting.  I think I cut it at 1.5".  I popped the images with foam adhesives.  I love this cartridge.  It has flowers, butterflies, birds, all the froo-froo stuff I like.
Lace - from Hobby Lobby
Jewels - from Michaels

We're so glad you could join us today.  We love your visits and comments.  God Bless You!!! Peggy

Monogram Note Card - My First Imagine Card

As I mentioned before, my replacement Imagine arrived last Friday.  I'm really enjoying playing with it.  This is my first card using it.  I used the Baby Boutique Imagine Cartridge.  This cartridge has a really nice monogram feature.

Card Recipe:
A2 card base
Background Paper - SEI White Elegance
Baby Boutique Imagine Cartridge - Monogram elements cut at 3".  I put foam adhesives between the elements to give it dimension.
Black ruffled ribbon
Pearls

While Jacob was here, he found a round stool with wheels that my husband used to wheel around the car to shine the tires.  My driveway has a slight dip, so Jacob took to riding the stool from the garage down the driveway.  Since it was a slight dip, I had to push him some of the time.  That was okay, but then he insisted I let him push me.  He thought that was so funny.  I'm sure my neighbors thought I had lost my mind.  All you that are grandparents know you do things you wouldn't ordinarily do for those "grand"children.  You that don't have grandchildren, see what you have to look forward to?  They keep you young.

Thanks for visiting us today.  We hope you will come back tomorrow.  God Bless You!!!  Peggy
