Here is a card I made as the result of a test I did on the Cricut Explore.
I read where the Cricut Explore was supposed to do really nice cuts even on small images. So I had to test that. I chose an image from Florals Embellished cartridge that had a lot of detail to it. I sized it at 1.5" and the Explore cut it perfectly. I thought, that would look pretty on a card so I cut 3 in all.
I took an A2 card and embossed it with the Anna Griffin Sierra Scroll Cuttlebug Folder. I think the pattern on the folder looked a lot like the image. What do you think?
I pasted the images to the embossed card.
That is pretty but it needed just a little something else. That's when I went to my flower stash & found some flowers I had gotten from the $1 bins at Michael's. I think they were a good finishing touch. There's plenty of room to put a sentiment when I get ready to send it out.
Thank you for visiting with me today. I really appreciate the input from you. My poor little Max's hair has grown so much it hides his eyes. So today we go get him groomed. He is such a good baby. Lots of times he sits on my lap while I craft. He can see outside better from that vantage point. Until later, God Bless You!!!! Peggy

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, MY MOM / MY FRIEND - Florals Embellished
Hi Everyone - HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all the mothers out there! We hope you have a wonderful day with your families!
I made this card for My Mom and My Friend, known to you as Peggy! It's so good to have my mom living here. We have so much fun together - I have a picture below of some of the fun we had today. But first the card I made for her.
I used Cricut Craftroom to weld two "flower #4" from the Florals Embellished cartridge together to form the card base. I then cut out all the layers and adhered them to the front of the card. The sentiment on the front of the card was generated with Word. I cut the sentiment on the inside of the card from the cartridge at 3.25".
Now on the fun that Mom and I had on Saturday. We went and had a Pedicure together. Mom actually got a Pedicure and a Manicure! When we got home, we took a picture of our toes. Well, Max wanted to be in the picture too showing off his toes, so if you look at the corner of the picture, you'll see Max's paw.

Now, notice the bling on our toes. We had the ladies put "diamond flowers" on our toes because "A GIRL CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH BLING!"
Thanks for stopping by today - we appreciate your visits and comments! Until another day - God Bless You! Donna

Just Fluttering By - Butterfly Card using Florals Embellished
Hi Everyone! I bought the Florals Embellished cartridge a few months ago because I just "had" to have it. Well, last week when Mom and I were trying to get me organized, I found it - HAAAAA!! So I thought I would make something with it.
I used Design Studio to weld together two of the Butrfly2s on Page 64 of the Florals Embellished book. This formed the card base cut at 7" x 5". I then cut the Btfly2-s, Layer 1, and Layer 2 to decorate the card base. I think it turned out rather pretty!!
Now I remember why I wanted this cartridge so bad. If you don't have it yet, it's worth purchasing. Thanks for stopping by today - we appreciate your visits and your comments. Until another day, God Bless You! Donna

Imagine & Cricut Cards
Happy Wednesday, Everyone. I hope your week is going exactly as you planned. I can't complain about mine. There are things I need to do outside but can't because of the heat. So I've spent my time today making two cards. This one is made with the Imagine.
Card Recipe:
Country Carnival Imagine cartridge. I cut the card from the Bonus Section on Page 43 at 4.25 X 5.5". Then I cut the Paisley from the Icons section at around 2" twice. Put foam adhesive between the two and adhered to card. Simple, huh.
I wanted to show our followers who don't have an Imagine how to make this card using the Expression. This is the card I came up with.
Card Recipe:
A2 card base
Background Paper - KandCo. Classic K Bailey Stack
Mother's Day Bouquet Cricut cartridge - cut one of the flowers at 1.5", 1.25, 1". Cut the other at 1.25", 1.0", and .75". You can make as many flowers as you wish. I just chose to make 2. Curl edges up.
Martha Stewart Punch for the leaves. The Mother's Day Bouquet cart has leaves on it too, so you could cut them on your Expression.
Essentials cartridge for the scalloped border-cut at 1.5"
Florals Embellished cart for the Paisley.
Ribbon with a sentiment or stamp your sentiment on the card.
Gems
I had fun doing these cards. Of course the last one took longer but I think it turned out very nicely. Which do like best? Leave me a comment. Thanks for visiting with us today. God Bless You!!! Peggy

Florals Embellished Card #2
Donna was here over the weekend. We always get into trouble when she comes by going to Michaels or Hobby Lobby or both. You see we both have OCD (Obsessive Crafting Disorder). We really need help. Is there a doctor in the house? Anyway, we found some new stacks of DCWV paper stacks. We each bought one and shared with the other. I used Cotton Bloom for the background of this card.
Also recently, I got the Florals Embellished Cricut cartridge. There are some really nice embellishments and backgrounds on this cartridge. I used two of the images for my card. I don't recommend cutting this butterfly at 1.5" which I did. Those tiny red dots are a pain to add at that size.

Background Paper - DCWV Cotton Bloom
Florals Embellished Cricut Cartridge - Flower on page 32 and Butterfly on page 66. Flower cut at 2.5", Butterfly cut at 1.5".
Thank you for dropping by today. Happy Wednesday. God Bless each of you!!! Peggy

Florals Embellished BD Card
I recently got the Florals Embellished cartridge and have been wanting to play with it. I had a little time yesterday so I decided to give it a go. This cartridge has a lot of interesting cuts on it. However, I was a little disappointed at how mine came out. Don't know if it was my choice of papers or what. I guess you can't have a super card everyday.
Card Recipe:
A2 card base
Background/Flower Paper - DCWV Citrus Stack
Cricut Cartridge - Florals Embellished - Elements of flowers cut at 1.75"
Trim - Martha Stewart Infinite Loops Trim Punch
Ribbon
Crystals
Thank you for visiting with us today. Donna and Jacob are on their way to my house. My son, Brian and his wife, Terrie, are coming tonight. Tomorrow is the anniversary of the death of my dear Gentle Ben. We need to be together this weekend. We all love him dearly. God Bless You!!!! Peggy
