I have a friend whom I dearly love. She's one of those friends who even though we don't talk every week, when we do talk it's like we've talked every day. She is a constant friend. I'm going to send her this card. When I saw this digi-stamp I just knew I had to make a card with him.
He is a Doodle Pantry digi-stamp. I downloaded him for free. He is such a happy little thing. I colored him with my new Promarkers(I'm still getting used to them). The background paper is DCWV Spring Stack printed paper. The edge is punched with the Martha Stewart Deco Fan Punch. I used the Lacy Labels cartridge to cut the label. The I'm So Happy is part of the digi-stamp.
The inside of the card: I used Cursive 101 cartridge to cut the "for your friendship" after welding it in Cricut Design Studio. The frame is cut at 5X7 from Lacy Labels. I will write a message to my friend within the frame.
Thank you for stopping by. We love visits and comments. God Bless You. Peggy

Christmas Card for The Meeting Place
The Meeting Place is one of those restaurants you run into occasionally in the South. It's a place where people go to see old friends and make new ones. We had developed the tradition of going on Tuesdays and Fridays for breakfast. They run a special of 2 eggs, bacon or sausage, grits, toast or biscuit and coffee for $2.99. It is a popular menu choice.
I wanted to make a special card for them for Christmas. I used the From My Kitchen cartidge to cut out the plate and utensils. I downloaded a digi-stamp for the phrase. I used the Martha Stewart Loop Punch on the edges and applied Merry Christmas Ribbon. The heading is from the Cursive Font cartridge. I used Cricut Design Studio to weld it.
Donna is good about writing poems for her cards so I asked her to write one for the staff of The Meeting Place. I think she did quite well.

There is a little place in town,
Where good food and
friends can always be found.
We go there to eat and sit;
Drink coffee and chat for a bit!
The atmosphere is friendly,
And the food is delish;
Thus we send this card,
As a Merry Christmas wish!!
Thanks for all the good times had by everyone,
And may we always remember
The birthday of Christ, God’s son!!
Thanks for visiting. We hope you find some inspiration. Peggy

Happy Summer Card
A friend of mine asked me to make a card for her little prayer partner at church. The older ladies team up with the tweens and agree to pray for them. She wanted a "Happy Summer Card" because school was letting out.
I used a Daisy May Digistamp from Whoopsie Daisy for this card and colored her with LePlume II markers. I had to use an aqua brush to get a lighter color for these markers. I hope to get some Promarkers soon. I embossed the yellow with Tiny Bubbles Cuttlebug folder. Happy Summer was cut from the Life's a Beach Cricut Cartridge. I used Design Studio to weld the letters together to cut her name. The letters are from the Cursive cartridge. I decorated the inside of the card with flip flops and a lifeguard chair from Life's a Beach. I'm not showing the inside because it has a message to her from her sponsor. I really like these Daisy May Digistamps. Be sure to visit Whoopsie Daisy to see a lot more of these cute stamps.
Thank you for stopping by our blog. Donna and Jacob are on their way to visit for a few days and I can't wait. We both have recently got the Gypsy so I know we'll be playing with them. It will be interesting to see what we come up with during this visit. Peggy
