Digistamps 4 Joy Challenge

There's a fun challenge going on right now at Digistamps 4 Joy.  The theme is always "Anything Goes".  But the twist this month is add a handmade embellishment.  It's been going on since January 1 and will last through the end of the month.  I'm on Design Team B and we post our projects on the 15th of each month.  

I used another of JenLee's designs for this card.  It is called "Hi, Lil Bird."  This card is for a dear friend of mine in NC.  Her birthday was January 6th so I had to mail it before I could post it.

The background is from Anna Griffin's Flourish Cards and Embellishments Cricut cartridge.  I colored the image with Prismacolor Colored Pencils and shaded the background with chalk.  My handmade embellishments are the flowers, butterfly and ribbon bow.

I Brake for Pretty Birdhouses

Happy Friday.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend and have fun things planned.  I'm glad you stopped by today to see another lovely stamp by I Brake For Stamps.  I chose the "Thatched Roof Birdhouse" for my post today.

Card Recipe:
5.5" X 8.5" card base-This is an 8.5 X 11.5 sheet of cardstock folded in half.
Background paper is KandCo. Botanicals and a sheet of pastel cardstock.
Background frame is cut from the Anna Griffin Flourish Cards and Embellishments Cricut cartridge
