Digistamps4Joy New Release Sunday

Today is another New Release Sunday at Digistamps4Joy.  Jenlee produced some cute "Phantasi" images to show off today.  Some of her images are for sale as pre-colored.  This makes creating a card very easy.  You can find the new images in the store here.

I used Phantasi 3 for my card.  You should go to Digistamps4Joy blog to see all the beautiful coloring and cards done by the design team.  This is truly a colorful Challenge.

Bow Card-Ribbons & Bows

Did anyone get the new Anna Griffin Cricut cartridge when she was on HSN in February?  If you like Anna Griffin anything, you will like this cartridge.  It's called Ribbons and Bows. The card I'm going to show you below is a Make It Now project in Cricut Design Space using this new cartridge.

The backgrounds and the bow are cuts from Ribbons and Bows.  Just open Design Space, in the Make it Now Projects, search by Cards.  This card is called Bow Card. All you have to do is cut the layers, adhere them and add pearls.  I love it.  Ribbons and Bows will be available for purchase early Spring if you didn't get it when it was introduced.

Mod Squad Weekly Challenge

Today is my day to host the Mod Squad Challenge along with Regina Cooper.  We have 2 lovely sponsors, Kat Scrappiness and Sparkle n Sprinkle,  along with 2 great prizes.  So you will want to enter.  You may enter as many as 3 times.

Our theme is Add any Animal you like.  Easter is coming soon so I chose "Easter Bunny and Chicks" for my animals.  This is a Sparkle n Sprinkle image.  They have a lot of cute digis for you to choose.

The ribbon background is from the new Anna Griffin cartridge Ribbon and Bows.  It was introduced on HSN (which is when I purchased it).  It will be available sometime in the Spring.  It has some gorgeous ribbons and bows on it.

This Can Be a Fast Card But.....

I had a little time this afternoon so I thought I would make a quick card for the blog.  What was supposed to be a quick card turned out to take a long time.  Why was I surprised?  I decided on a background and started to cut it with my Cricut Explore.  Everything went fine until I got to the intricate top layer.  My machine started tearing the design.  I tried a couple of things but then called Cricut support.  A lovely lady named Heather stayed on the phone with me for an hour and 2 minutes until the problem was solved.  Thank you, Heather.

So you can see, it should have been easy, not stressful to make this card.  I didn't put a sentiment on it until I send it.
