A Gift Bag For A Special Friend-Day 2 of Giveaway

First let me say how much Donna & I appreciate our Followers.  We are on our third year.  It's been a fun ride. In appreciation we have a $25 gift card to Michael's to one of our followers.  All you have to do is be a follower and leave a message below this post. The post for today is a gift bag for a very special friend.

The diamond is a cut file from the Silhouette Store.  I cut it out using my Cameo.  This machine cuts intricate details very well.  The bottom flowers are off-white Prima Flowers which I inked with CTMH Lagoon ink.  I then added some flowers that were glittered.  The butterflies are from a Martha Stewart punch.  The butterfly trail was made using a Viva Pearl Pen.  The leaves were cut with the Cricut cartridge Mother's Day Bouquet.

Thank you for coming by today.  I hope to see you again soon.  God Bless You!!!  Peggy

Outlaws Freebie Challenge

The card I want to share with you today is one I made using one of the free digistamps provided to us by the talented artist Anne Fenton at the Outlaws Challenges.   Her name is Rapunzel.  Remember that fairy tale?  The freebie challenge lasts for two weeks.  If you participate in this one, you will be sent new digis for the next one.  Here is my version of Rapunzel.

This card is very simple & easy to make.  The background paper is from a Recollections paper stack from Michael's.  I just cut a 4.25X5.5" piece, tied a ribbon around the top and popped Rapunzel on top.  The paper is so festive, it doesn't need a lot of embellishment.  I will wait until I get ready to send it out before stamping a greeting.  Promarkers used to color digi:

Face/Skin - Coral, Sun-kissed Pink, Blush, & Baby Pink
Hair - Burnt, Sienna, Walnut, Cinnamon, Satin
Dress - Lime Green, Lime Zest
Bow - Pear Green, Lime Green

Thank you for stopping by today.  Be sure to follow and leave a comment to be eligible for our prize.  God Bless You!!!!  Peggy

Live, Love, Dance

This young lady is my great niece, Leah.    She's growing up so fast and is very sweet and prettyShe recently had a dance recital and her Mom posted this picture of her in her dance costume on Facebook.

When I saw the image I'm using today I wanted to color it for her.  I originally was going to make her a card but after I got the image colored Donna said, "Mom, it's too pretty to just put on a card." So we decided a frame would be a good idea.  So I went to Michael's (any excuse to go to Michael's) and found this frame.  I painted it white and inked the edges with CTMH Blush Ink.

I cut a 5X7 mat from pink sequined paper, added the digital image.  This image is from Aurora Wings and is called Flower Ballerina.  I love this type of digistamp.  I colored her with Promarkers.
After placing the mat & digi in the frame, I glued lace around the frame.
I then cut leaves using the Mother's Day Bouquet cartridge, added flowers, gems, flourishes and a lace bow to complete the frame.  The lavender flowers are off-white inked with orchid ink. This is my finished product.  I must say I love the way it looks.
I hope Leah will like it.
Here are a couple of close ups of the flowers.

I know this has been a long post but I wanted to give you details so you can try it.  Thank you for coming by today.  I would like to know what you think.  God Bless You!!!!  Peggy
