My First Easel Card

I have seen so many easel cards on blogs and the Cricut Message Board, I thought I would like to make one.  The card was easy enough to put together but my A type personality kicked in when trying to decide how to decorate it.  I can spend a huge amount of time trying to decide what paper, embellishments, etc.  Any suggestions on how to cure this malady?  LOL
I decided to use Create a Critter since I have never used it.  I love butterflies so I chose the butterfly(page 64) and the flowers(page 47) to add cheer to my card.  They are adorable.  The paper is DCWV Citrus.  I added some small butterflies punched with an EK Success punch.

I wasn't sure about decorating the panel behind the easel but I chose to add "Wish you a"  and a few embellishments to lead into my inside message of "perfect day."
Thank you for letting me ramble about this card today.  Create a Critter is a very cute cartridge.  Thanks for visiting.  God bless you!! Peggy

  1. Peggy,
That is a super cute card. Don't worry, I am the same way as far as papers & stuff. I will have an idea in my head for a week, but take even longer to put it together cuz I can't decide how I want to decorate
Create A Critter has been on my must have list since it first came out.
((thinking I need to give my list to hubby))

  2. Love that happy card! Wonderful job!

  3. You did a great job on this card!! It is a very happy, springy card!! TFS!!

  4. Love the card...but no suggestions since it takes me 'forever' sometimes to do one myself.

  5. The Imagine carts really help with picking out papers/backgrounds to match your card.

This is a really cute card! I love this cart!!!

I appreciate your comments and visits. I hope you will come back soon.
