Happy Anniversary, Johnny and Linda

My brother, Johnny and his wife, Linda, got married a week after Ben and I did.  She was 15 and he was 19.  Most people wouldn't have thought our marriages would last but they did.  Of course, I lost my Ben one month after we celebrated our 50th anniversary.  Johnny and Linda will celebrate their 56th on February 13.  I made them this card and will put it in the mail today.

I designed the card in Cricut Design Space so the Explore would right my sentiments.  The front is embossed using an AG Cuttlebug Embossing Folder.  I finalized it with ribbon and pearls.

This is what I wrote inside.

When you stood before the judge fifty-six years ago,

You thought you knew what love was.

But I've watched your love grow over the years

into something beautiful.

Now your hearts are knit as one, you think

the same thoughts and dream the same dreams

for your family.

God has blessed you with a strong love for each

other with Him at the center.

He has honored your life with a long

marriage.

I hope you have many more years together.
