My First Silhouette Cameo Card

A while back I decided to order the Silhouette Cameo I was hearing so much about.  Last week they had a sale of all the images in the store for 50% off.  This is one of the images I bought.  It is a birthday card file by Daniela Angelova.  Donna came over yesterday and we were playing with the Cameo.  This intricate pattern cut flawlessly.  We were impressed.

I took the white card base, pasted a pink background to the front and added pink pearls to the white flowers.  I punched out some tiny flowers with the Martha Stewart Hydrangea punch, added them to wider circular strip and added tiny pearls to the center.  The final thing I did was add Crystal Stickles to the Happy Birthday.  It was very simple and easy to make.  I know we could probably make a similar one with the Cricut Expression but I'm not sure it would cut as intricately as this.  I think I'm going to enjoy having the Cameo as part of my arsenal of papercrafting tools.

This is a close up of the flowers.

Thank you for stopping by today.  We appreciate your comments & visits.  God Bless You!!!!!  Peggy

  3. Peggy this is so cool! I have a Cricut and never use it. (Actually I have 2) They just sit gathering dust in my office. I'm mad at them and haven't decided what I'm going to do about that. :) Hugs,
