Art Nouveau Diamond Fold Card

When I was working on my notebook for the Imagine Patterns and Colors, I came across a card I had learned to fold but never made.  So I decided to make one from it.   It's called a Diamond Fold Card.  I got my Art Nouveau cartridge Friday so decided to combine the two.  I've made some pictures to show you how to make it.  I'm sure a lot of you have made this type of card and don't need directions but for those who haven't here are the details.

Cut a 4"X12" strip of cardstock.  I used one with a border on it.
Turn paper over and mark the middle at 6".  Draw a line down the center.
Sorry for the poor quality of this photo, but score at 2 " and 4" on each end.
Next score diagonally from the center line to the 2" score line, top and bottom, on both ends.  This will make an X on each side of the middle.  I sure hope I'm making sense.  The score line at 4 inches should be in the center of it.
This is what it should look like if you can see it.
Turn the card over and fold in the 2 sides at the 2" score line.  Then fold along each score line.
This is what it will look like.  The triangle shapes will fold in.
This is the finished card base ready to decorate.
This is my card open using the Art Nouveau cartridge.  I used the designs on pages 30 and 40.  Page 30 is the center and page 40 is on the ends.  I cut 2 of the page 40 image but flipped one of them so I wouldn't have two identical images.  I used my Imagine to color fill the images and cut them out.  The background paper is from the DCWV Lace and Linen Paper Stack.

Sorry for the post being so long today.  Thanks for stopping in with us.  Until tomorrow, God Bless You!!!!  Peggy
