Heart Song Designs

Today is the first day of the new Heart Song Inspirations Blog and  Heart Song Designs Image Store.  It's owner/digital artist is Leah Cornelius whom we met on the Cricut Message Board.  Leah is a very talented lady and is stepping out on her own to help fund the completion of  their adoption of an Ethiopian son.  You can read about it here.  I have been blessed to be chosen to be on Leah's inaugural Design Team.

For my first card I chose her Love Birds digital image.This is my card recipe.

5X6.5 " card base
Background Paper - KandCo. Smitten Paper Stack
Heart - cut at 4.5" from Create-A-Critter cartridge - Pearlized paper
Ruffled Lace - attach to back of heart with Zip glue
Promarkers used:
Birds - Lipstick Red, Berry Red, Gold, Blender
Branch - Tan, Cocoa
Wreath - Orchid, Amethyst, Leaf Green, Forest Green
Stickles - Add Lavender to flowers

Another of her designs I used was the Lovely Cupcake and this is the card I made with it.

Card Recipe:
5X6.5 Card
Basic Grey Euphoria Paper Stack
Ribbon
Happy Birthday cut from a Cricut Cartridge-I can't remember whixh one I used.
White Gel Pen for Faux Stitching
Promarkers Used:
Cupcake Wrappers - Satin, Saffron
Icing - Ivory, Satin
Flowers - Baby Pin, Rose Pink
Leaves - Leaf Green, Forest Green
