My Reworked "UGLY" Card

I put my "ugly" card on the Cricut Message Board.  Everyone was so kind.  No one agreed with me but I did get some suggestions.  So I took some of them and re-worked the card.  This is what it looked like originally.

And this is it made over.  Tell me what you think.

I made the card bigger - instead of an A2 card, I made it 5X6.5"
Background paper - Poteeka Souffle by Paper Studios
Holiday Cakes Cricut Cartridge - Page 34 cut at 4.25
Calligraphy Cricut Cartridge - Happy Birthday cut at .75"
Martha Stewart Double Loop Corner Punch
Bling and Stickles
I was able to use the original cuts after taking them off the first card.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Catch The Bug - Anything Goes
Drunken Stampers - Birthdays

Thank you for visiting today.  I hope your weekend is filled with joy and happiness.  God Bless You!!!  Peggy
PS:  They're showing my house tomorrow.  Prayers appreciated.

  2. I like both of your cards. Honestly I like the white background best, but they are both pretty.

  5. I thought the first one was very pretty but the second one really pops. Anyway, you can't make an "ugly" card.
