Happy Boss' Day, Jean!!

I've said it before that I have the "best" boss in the world!! Today is officially Boss' Day - so let this post serve as your reminder if you have forgotten to honor your boss this week. I gave my boss a combination gift of different things that she likes and put them in a metal basket that I bought at Michael's. I tried to decorate the gift bag to match the basket by using Tags, Bags, and Boxes to cut the daisies at 2 3/4" and 2 1/2". I cut the green background paper at 5 x 5 and used the Martha Stewart Double Loop punch around the border. I then cut a 3 1/4 x 3 1/4" piece of felt paper and embossed it with the Daisy Cuttlebug Embossing Folder. I cut tags for the gift bag and one of the metal daisy's at 2 1/4".

My boss loved and appreciated it. She said it made her day!! Thanks for visiting our blog and we hope you'll come back again soon!! Have a good weekend and until another day, God Bless!! Donna

We're "NUTS" over you!!

Hi Everyone!! My son, Jacob, thinks that there is no one in the world like my mom, his “mamaw!” In his eyes, Mamaw hung the moon. Since my dad’s death four months ago, I’ve tried to send my mom little “pick me ups” each week to brighten her days. Here is a card that Jacob and I came up with this past weekend. My mom has lots of squirrels in her neighborhood that cause havoc in her landscaping so she's not exactly fond of squirrels. We thought she would find this card funny!!

This past weekend, I challenged myself to try and make a card using some of my scraps. I don’t know about you but I have “TONS” of scraps from all the projects I've created over the years. I used the Cindy Loo Cricut Cartridge to cut out the squirrel border at 5” and folded it in half. I then cut out the squirrel shadow at 5” and used adhesive to glue it to the back of the card to strengthen the card so it would stand up. The tag was cut with Tags, Bags, Boxes and More.

Hope you enjoy and thank you for stopping by. Come back tomorrow! God Bless, Donna!
