50 Cent Notebook Made Beautiful with Vinyl and Imagine

Hi Everyone!  I bought a 50 Cent notebook today at Office Depot.  Actually, I bought three of them.  I have directions for numerous projects printed out with no place to store them.  I've been wanting to use printable vinyl with my Imagine so I thought I would decorate my cheap notebooks to make them beautiful.  Below is the first of the notebooks that Mom and I decorated today:

Here is a picture of the notebook before we started.

We used Home Decor for the word "Create" and flooded with colors from the "All Wrapped Up" Imagine Cartridge.  The butterfly and the flower are from the "All Wrapped" Imagine Cartridge.  This is a picture of the setup of the project and also after we printed and cut it.

You can see the finished product is so much prettier!!  I think I've started a new vinyl addiction!!  Oh No!!
Thanks for stopping by - we appreciate your visits and your comments.  Until another day, God Bless You!!  Donna

Gardenia Birthday Card

It's time for another challenge on NettieG's Digital Gems Challenge Blog.  It's a sketch challenge.  I know you'll enjoy it.  Be sure to click on the above link and check out what the Design Team did for inspiration.  This is my card.

Card Recipe:
5X6.5" card base
Background Paper - Green and Yellow Cardstock.
Nettie G's Gardenia Digital Image
Frame cut  from Lacy Labels Cricut cartridge.
Cuttlebug, Kassie's Brocade and Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Folders to emboss background papers.
Ribbon - from Hobby Lobby
Promarkers Used
Gardenia - Ivory, Soft Lime
Leaves - Bright Green, Pine, Holly

May I show you the first card I created using this digital image.  My brain wasn't in gear so I forgot I was supposed to use the sketch until I was ready to send it.  LOL Oh well, I've got another card to add to  my stash for when I need to send one.  The card recipe is the same except the frame came from Home Decor - cut at 5.25 X 4".

Thanks for stopping by today.  May your week be blessed and everything run smoothly.  God Bless You!!! Peggy

Chandelier Birthday Card

Hi Everyone - I was at Hobby Lobby the other day (my home away from home) and I spotted this patterned paper. I immediately thought of the Home Decor cartridge that has this chandelier on it. I couldn't wait to make a card with it.
I covered the cardbase with the patterned paper. Using the Home Decor cartridge, I cut two chandeliers out of black cardstock at 4" and one chandelier out of pink cardstock at 4". At first I thought that I could pop-dot them but the cuts were too small, so I had to try something else. I decided I would place the cuts on top of each other slightly askew so that they would look dimensional. I then added bling to look like the crystals on a real chandelier. I cut a black and a silver metalic border and punched them with the double loop Martha Stewart punch. The sentiment is a stamp I bought in the $1.00 section at Target.

Thanks for visiting our blog and for those of you that visited yesterday, thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers as Mom and I remembered my Dad on what would have been his 70th birthday. He was a great man, husband, and Daddy (I don't like that word "father)!! He is greatly missed!! Thanks again for visiting and we hope you'll come again soon!! Until another day, God Bless You! Donna
