Eureka Stamps Challenge - Something With Wings
The Eureka Stamp Challenge for today is Something With Wings. I'll bet you can't guess which item with wings I chose. Oh, you cheated. You looked at the picture. I love butterflies and the fact they represent New Life. I made this card with no coloring and I loved it.
Card Supplies:
5X5" card base - it is actually a label I bought from the Silhouette online store. The item # is 40390. I opened the label in Silhouette Studio, sized to the size I needed, mirror imaged it and welded the two together. I think it made a pretty ornate card.
Image - Eureka Image #40403 Happiness Like a Butterfly
Die Cut - Anna Griffin Die
Flowers - large flower made with Cricut Cartridge Mother's Day Bouquet. Small flowers are from a punch.
Butterflies - Martha Stewart punches
Gems
Ink to highlight the edges
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you will visit the challenge and see what the other DT members came up with for this challenge. God Bless You!!! Peggy

Eureka Challenge - Monochrome
I have had out of town guests this week so I have not spent much time on my computer or making cards. Have you ever had friends that you don't talk to every week or see as often as you would like? But when you do get to see one another, it's as though you had never been apart. That's the kind of friends my friends, Wanda and Dennis are. They live in Charlotte, NC. They even look over my pitiful attempt to show them around the area, which incidentally I know nothing about. We had a good laugh over that one.
I must quit rambling and get to my card for the Eureka Stamps Challenge. Our theme is Monochrome. I chose yellow as my color.
Card Supplies:
A2 card base
Background Paper - DCWV Lemon Flower Paper Stack
Image - QKR Stampede digi 16220 Bouquet Digistamp. I printed it on yellow paper and shaded it with Tulip Yellow and Gold.

Eureka Stamps Challenge - Thank You
You will never believe what I did yesterday. Monday is Eureka Challenge day, so I create my card, write up my post and publish it only to realize a little while later, I had the wrong theme. I had created a card for Friends which is next week's challenge. I'm blaming it on this Shingles' medication. LOL.
Then I got busy and made one for our Thank You theme for this week. There are several people I need to send a thank you card to for their help since I've had shingles. This one I will give to Donna. She is a wonderful daughter and she has taken me to the doctor, brought me food and done anything I needed her to do. Thank you, Donna.

Today is Eureka Stamps Challenge Day. Our theme this week is Father's Day. It's just around the corner so we need to be getting those cards ready. I kept it Clean and Simple.

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY TO OUR TROOPS & VETS
First let me say thank you to our troops and veterans. Where would we be without you. You have sacrificed so much for us and our country. You deserve all the honor & tribute you receive. Thank you from the bottom of our heart.
This was supposed to be my post for Eureka Stamps Design Team. However, I have developed a case of the Shingles. That's all I have to say to those of you who have had them. I have been unable to do anything this past week and it's still not any better. I am taking several meds the doctor has given me. The meds have side effects so I'm kind of loopy in the head. Donna has done a wonderful job of checking on me, bringing me food and doing anything I needed done. My sister & her husband came for several days and took care of things. My son & daughter-in-law are coming next weekend. I have such a wonderful family. I am truly blessed. I hope to be back crafting soon but until I get rid of this pain, I have to take it easy.
Thanks for stopping by today. Thank you for your loyal support. God Bless You!!!! Peggy
