Valentine Card for Nursing Home Crafts

I got pretty good news from the surgeon yesterday.  First of all he explained in detail how my by-pass surgery was performed.  Then he explained how one of the by-passes can fail.  He said he felt like my heart was getting sufficient blood so there is nothing to do at this time.  I do have a 50 - 60% blockage in another artery and if it gets worse then they will stent it later.  Thank you to all those who prayed for me.  God is good.

Today I have been working on some card kits for the local NHC nursing home.  They have craft day every month and sometimes we make cards.  I've cut all the pieces for the cards and am going to make individual packs for each card.  I've put together one so they will have an example to go by..
Card Supplies:
4X5.5" card base embossed with Anna Griffin "Paisley Dance" embossing folder
The embellishments are designs from the Cricut Design Space Access.  I flattened the sentiment, then print and cut it.

I hope the residents will like this Valentine.  They always appreciate anything you do for them.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope the rest of your week is wonderful.

God Bless You!!! Peggy

  1. That sounds like a good report from your surgeon and I hope everything continues to go well for you. Your Valentine design is wonderful too and I am sure it will be a hit with the residents at the nursing home.

  2. Hi Peggy .... First of all I am glad to hear your surgery went well and it sounds like they are going to keep tabs on you to take care of anything else that may pop up.

Your card is so cute and I bet those people at the nursing home are going to be thrilled to get these packets to work on. Very sweet of you to do something like this.

    Take care!
