Unity Stamp/Graciellie Design New Release

Today is an exciting day.  Unity Stamps and Graciellie Design have teamed together to bring you some new rubber stamps. Here is a link the new releases.  There are some beautiful images and they're all on sale.  I had the privilege to work with a couple of them.  This is my first creation.  Tune back in on the 16th for another cute design.

This lovely image is called "Amazing Things", colored with Copics.  The background paper is from a 6X6" paper pack by DCWV called In Stitches.  I crisscrossed some yarn around it before adding the image.  I think this would make a  lovely encouragement card.  Here is a closeup of the image.
And here is a pic of the actual stamp package.  The stamp is made of high quality rubber and stamps clearly.

Did I mention that this is a blog hop.  Oh yeah.  There will be prizes announced on October 16th.  You will want to leave a comment on every design team members blog to increase your chances of winning.  What is the prize, you say.  There will be 3 prize packages from Unity Stamps that include 3 stamp sets.  How generous is that?  So be sure to leave a comment here on my blog, then go on to Regina's blog to see her beautiful creations.  She's been a busy girl.

Thank you so much for joining us in this blog hop today.  Looking forward to reading your comments.

God Bless You!!!  Peggy

Graciellie Design and Paper Temptress Blog Hop

Graciellie Design and Paper Temptress are teaming up today to bring you a blog hop featuring new releases by Graciellie Design and a new paper pack Paper Temptress prepared to coordinate with the Magnificent Magnolia Collection. The new release I chose for my card is "Happy Greetings".  As you can see it is a beautiful set of tulips with lovely sentiments.

My card:

Card Details:
A2 Card Base
All the lovely papers I used were from the Paper Temptress Magnolia Dreams Variety Pack
Background Paper: I used Paper Temptress Amethyst Mica/Metallic paper.  It has a beautiful sheen to it.
Die cut background - This pattern is one of Gracielle Design die cuts designed to go with these new releases. The paper used for this is another Paper Temptress product, Vintage Silver Lustre.  This paper has a gorgeous swirl pattern. This photo really doesn't show it's beauty.
Image - Happy Greetings by Graciellie Design.  I chose the tulip with the leaves, removed the background to make it a png file, then duplicated it.  I flipped one of them horizontally, then put them together to make a bouquet.  I, then, printed it on PT's Cryogen White #89 paper.  This is one of the best papers for coloring with alcohol markers. Image is colored with Copics.  I then attached it to a paper doily with adhesive squares and glued the doily to my background.
Bow - made from Gold Opulence Ribbon from Paper Temptress.  It adds a touch of elegance to this card.
Butterfly - a foiled Anna Griffin embellishment

Now, it's your turn to visit all the other designers to see what they have created with these new releases.  The prize for today's blog hop will be the complete Magnolia Dreams Collection which features digistamp, papers and die cuts.

Here is our blog hop list for your enjoyment.  These ladies have some beautiful things to show you.  Be sure to leave a comment on each one in order to be eligible for the prizes.

Blog Hop Coming Soon

Hi Everyone, I have been away for almost a month at my son & daughter-in-love's home.  While there, I helped her with her website.  She and her friend, Sharon, are opening an internet store to sell handmade pillows.  I'll tell you more about that when we get it up and running.

I have other news as well.  I have been invited to be on the Graciellie Designs Design Team.  I'm excited about this.  Gracie Chavez, the owner, has beautiful digistamps.  On August 1 & 2 we will be having 2 blog hops.  On August 1, it will be a joint effort between Graciellie Designs and Paper Temptress.  I will be involved with this one.  Gracie will be releasing some beautiful new releases.  I can't show you them yet but stay tuned for more.

Thanks for visiting today.  We'll talk later.

God Bless You!!!  Peggy

Design Team, Tags, & Blog Hop

You all haven't heard from me in a while so you're probably going to wish I would hush before I finish today.  I have a lot to tell you.

Fantabulous Cricut

First, as Donna mentioned in her post Monday, I've been asked to be on the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Design Team.  Robyn asked me if I would do the Friday post on the blog.  Yes, I will be the Girl Friday.  I hope you will join me there as well to see what great things we can come up with.  My posts start this Friday.  There is always the weekly challenges that we will participate in as well.  I feel very blessed to be part of the team.

Secondly, I want to share some of the tags I've been making for the Cricut Circle South Carolina Crop.  We are exchanging Holiday themed tags and our calling cards.  Donna & I have already shown you our calling cards.  Joys of the Seasons has a nice tag and ornament feature so I used it to create the tags.
Each is cut at 3".  I chose the Christmas star, one of the snowflakes, the angel, and Christmas tree.  These are very easy to make.  I had to have easy because I've gotten behind with my going to the beach last week.  Hmmmm, maybe I should have stayed at home.  The shape is cut out of the tag and ornament.  I then cut a blank tag or ornament from a coordinating color and adhered it to the back.  I used several different Christmas paper stacks for these.

Finally, Doodle Pantry Design Team, one which Donna is on, is having a blog hop starting on Nov. 5th - 7th.  There will be prizes and a lot of cute projects from the ladies on this team.  They are very talented.  Donna has been working on her project and it is adorable.(She sends me pictures)  I just love it.  But then I love Donna and think she is the greatest daughter a Mom could have.  Please, please, please stop by Saturday for the blog hop.

Thanks for letting me ramble on today.  I have missed you all and posting.  We hope to see you again tomorrow.  God Bless You!!! Peggy

Peggy:
Gaby asked us to create anything b-day with green OR anything Earthy (trees, flowers, world?) using some green--it can even be recycle.   I sort of combined all of that with this card.
Card Materials:
A2 Card Base
Background Paper - KayandCo. Sweet Life
Lace
Prisma Flowers
Button and twine

Donna:

I used Design Studio to weld the scalloped circle on Cindy Loo at 5".  I cut the cardbase at 5" then the scalloped circle with the tree and birdie at 5".  I popped the birdie for dimension and the sentiment is Word generated.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        ................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

All That Glitters Blog Hop-Welcome Back-Last Day

Welcome to Daily Grace Creations, our little corner of the blogosphere, and the All That Glitters Blog Hop! If you've come here from The Cricut Diaries wonderful blog you're in the right place! If you've just happened across our blog and would like to play along with our fun hop, you can go to A Place For My Cards and start at the beginning.

With the holidays fast approaching we are sharing some wonderful ideas and inspiration for your viewing and crafting pleasure! Each  designer will be featuring an original project(s) made especially for this hop. Make sure to check out each designer's blog. There will be prizes along the way so you don't want to miss anyone.

Donna and I have created several things we would like to share with you.  Before we do though, we should tell you we cut our projects from glitter paper rather than try to apply glitter to each piece individually.  Is that cheating?

We made several ornaments.  The first is a Snowflake from the Joys of the Season Cartridge.  We cut 2 of the Flake3 at 5.325"X6.0".  Then cut Flake4 at 5.181"X4.738.  We layered Flake4 between the 2 Flake3s.  I made a flower from metallic ribbon and adhered it to the outside and glued a Paper Studio gemstone to the center.  We then tied ribbon through a hole in the snowflake to hang it on the tree.
The next ornament is a cross from the Wedding cartridge.  We cut two of these at 4"X6".  Be sure to flip one of these so the designs will line up.  Again they are cut from white metallic paper purchased at Michaels.  After cutting them, we glued them together and added pearls on each side.  I'm not sure if you can see the pearls or not but they're there.
Our angel is cut from the Christmas cartridge at 6".  We cut 2 with the regular feature from white glitter paper.  Again be sure to flip one cut.  We then cut 2 using the blackout feature from gold glitter paper.  We glued all of these together then attached ribbon for hanging.

The JOY is cut at 3 1/2" using the alphabet on the Cindy Loo cartridge.  We welded the letters together in Design Studio.  We cut a shadow of the joy from red glitter paper and adhered it to the back.  We then added red gemstones and ribbon.

Last but not least is our wreath cut from the Joys of the Season cartridge.  We used a 24" mat and the fit to page feature on the cricut.  It measures 12.442"X11.636".  We cut it from green glitter paper, adhered it to a circle of green shimmer paper, then wove ribbon through it and attached a bow.  The ribbon was some we picked up at Michaels or Joann's.  This is probably too big to hang on a tree but it would be cute on a wall.
So, on to our blog candy! We are giving away a set of note cards made with the new Paper Lace cartridge.

Winning this prize is easy! All it takes is 2 easy steps...
